Not lazy, just didn't find the information I was looking for on how to use the features the right way. Thank you, you answered alot of the questions I had like which way to turn the dial to increase noise cancelling.

YOOOO just stopping by to say that my left earcup was not working! it was like at 10% volume while the right one was blasting at 100%! I thought it was BS but after following all recommended troubleshooting steps I found a video recommending people to blow on the earbud/earcup haha. I gave it a try and bam! both sides are now at 100% so yeah people, it sounds stupid but your earbuds may need a breath of fresh air every once in a while.

Is surface headphone 1 quite good for office phone calls?
I have Microsoft Surface 2 using for forst time they are brand new and left ear cup has no sound. 😢 I am trying to do firmware reset now hope it works.
Someone suggested blowing air into left earphone will try that next if firmware reset doest work.
@DHRME HELP - I have surface headphones 2. Left ear stopped working. Facotry defaulted and worked again. Then few weeks later stopped again and factory reset didnt work. I then found your video and used trhe cable for firmware reset and it worked twice but now has stopped again. The left ear not working again but the touch pad still works. Any other suggestions before trying to return to Microsoft ?
I hope you still have them. I had the same issue and guess what. I blowed air on the left earcup (literally put your mouth inside the cup and blow hard) and it magically works now. Same issue as yours. Hope it works.

I bought the Surface Headphones one week ago, but I think I will get a refund. I have so many problems with them!
First problem: you can't turn off the ANC, that means that you will always have an annoying background noise in the headphones. Why can't I turn it off if I don't need it? You can cancel outside noise or amplify it, but you can't just have natural sound. This is so stupid because every time I am in a quiet room I hear this noise in the ears.
Second problem: if I'm connected to a pc and a cellphone and I'm listening music on the pc, every time I do something with the phone the headphones go crazy. If for example I send a message, the music comes and goes.
Why is noone talking about these problems?

God help you if this posDoesn't work. The Surface 2 WILL NOT PLAY MUSIC. NO WAY, NO FRIN'G WAY. I HATE these things
