Showing how to take the valves out and back in was useful for me but the valve lapping has me worried that I might have messed up the valve seat using the drill to lap it.
My exhaust valves were leaking anyway but I need to check then again to see if I made it worse

I have been watching a few videos on valve cleaning and man there are a lot of different opinions on it. But what I have read and seen it seems it's important to not remove any metal from the valve especially on the shiney metal below the head of the valve.
The tolerance appears to be really small for the valve guides.

I'm still learning. Everything worked out ok, but still, I have not resolved the blowby issue. I might need to tear it apart again. The blowby was there before I had torn it apart. I thought new rings would solve it. I hope I did a pissed poor job honing is the issue.

You should lap them anyway to make sure they're seated probably on the block. Once you finish installing all the valves, put some water on them, then you an air hose to blast from underneath to see if any air bubbles appear.
