"Why Do Ref?" This section is both hilarious and tragic. I decided to stick with comics instead of pursuing animation due to the absurd amount of time it takes for anything to be animated.
this is great! i am a VFX hobbyist and i grab loads of clips from martial arts, free running , gymnastics, dance etc and Frankenstein monster em together to make reference for what i need! nice to see i am kinda doing it right! thanks for the video!
This video is amazing, I've been struggling with finding key poses and this is really an eye-opener (I've never considered beats before). Thank you so much for the information!
Really appreciate a video on reference. I find making reference vids to be the hardest part. also it sometimes makes me feel bad when I'm looking at my hopeless uninteresting movements
Awesome video! That is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. For acrobatics and complex movements, I've been using Cascadeur as a reference for movement, specifically for its physics-based animation capabilities (because I'm not an Olympic athlete) :)
Super good video, can't believe advice of this caliber is up here for free! What software do you use that lets you watch the video back frame-by-frame and put down marks like "Up" "Down" or "K" for keyframe? Thanks for the great guide :)
@@owenferny parkour, i wonder how you manage the foots, and are you using root control or not when animate parkour, and transition frlm walk to run and oposite, sorry if i asked too much
