@maqsizu using the yarn and hook in the video yes it is for an adult, to make it a differnt size you can keep increasing the hat until the outside edge is 1 inch smaller than the head size you need and then continue with the 1 stitch in each stich for the lengh of the hat
@rachiibuu once you knoe the trick you will be off and running ! You keep increasing the crown until you have the circumference to 1 inch smaller than the head measurement you are making it for and then STOP increasing (2 sttiches into 1 stitch) and then you do just 1 stitch in each :)
@mylittleangel2660 The circumference is the out side meacurement of the hat so the row that you just finished doing is the circum, ference. did this make it clearer?
I just finished my hat for my teenage Grandaughter..thank you ..you explained very well & so easy to follow..I just added a bow since it is for a girl..is there a way for me to post a picture of my hat? my husband & I had a good laugh when you said the pink part of the ear looked like a tongue..nice to see you have a sense off humor
Hello, I'm from Saskatchewan Canada, where touques or beanies are a must. It's minus 28 c today, including the wind chill. It's minus 40.I just love your videos and even though I made a few simple chain stitch afgans about 14 years ago, I never made a hat. With your tutorials I have made three beanies. The first was a white version of your pink and grey bubble hat with a white Rose. Looks great. Thanks for the terrific instructions! Have you ever made the blue bird from the library video?
@bobwilson123 Thanks bob i think i got it ... so when u start a baby hat you make it to the size of the circumference of the head then no more increase?
