Love all these very informative videos. I’m finishing up my first wing on a 750 STOL, and it was great to see you fuel tank setup and the wing slings/holders. I’ve been wondering how to store mine while I build the fuselage.
Working on my STOL wingtips and there’s a lot of cutting/fitting. What did you use to cut excess plastic off your wingtips? I’m not having much luck with the dremel.
I watch another Zenith build channel called "Kitplane Enthusiast" and he built a Cruzer and now has started on a Zenith CH 750 SD. He uses these riveted on, threaded hole, backing plates to create access hatch cover mounts or screw on points for things he needs access to for maintenance or possible replacement. Have you thought about something similar for your Pitot tube bracket to make removing it for service a little easier?
Scott, have you heard anything about grounding your shield inside your shielded wire (at the nav/strobe location)? I believe I did this on another aircraft build 15 years ago, but I forgot? I might ask this on the FB page as well, thank you!
Thanks Scott! I went out to work on my first cruzer tank install and got hung up right away, This is getting me back on track.
You can do it!
I came here to find inspiration on how to handle fuel sampling. I’ll do the same: vented caps and tap from the bottom.
Top mounted fuel gauge however.
Cool thanks
Great progress, I’m surprised how far you are with the wings. Happy flying before you know it.

Thanks Keith, happy to share, i loved seeing what others came up with to solve problems.

I found an xacto blade to be best

Nope KISS, four rivets.

No idea
Why do u think the Zenith Cruiser is better than a Jabiru? Could you share your comparison?
Similiar aircraft however I have built the Cruzer so, I get the satisfaction I guess.
