They look good. That is some very thin sheet-metal the screws are going into, so not much for the threads to grip. I would recommend putting a dab of Loctite on the threads. They're not something that s going to get removed a lot. Blue should do the job. Personally, I would be inclined to install some 4-40 Riv-nuts.
Hey Mark..thanks for the update, looks great! I'm just getting started on my fuselage assembly and I'm trying to picture just how one would/could install these during construction, or even if it's feasible just to eliminate the seam? Stay warm up there!
I know you're joking, but sometimes I like the contrast of shiny screws against the paint. I painted the screws that hold on the inner wing fairings, but didn't paint the screws for the tail fairings or these strut fairings. I like how it looks!
I must say they do improve the look of the strut end.
Nice job Mark!
Another professionally done job and it really does look great. This should give you many hours of happy flying. Thanks for the great how-to video.
Many good tips and points. Thank you
Very nice.
Fantastic!
No doubt added aerodynamic efficiency as well. Looks great!
Sweet. I need to get these for my plane. Thanks for sharing
great little upgrade!!! thanks for the tips
with the mic cable (~3:00) the sanding block appears to be an electric powered device. Good job holding onto it ;-)
No views ?!! I just did 🤣
Great job Mark.
Maybe a couple of these will counter-act my 28" tires on my Cruzer!

Question, going back to the wings, am I seeing that right. 2 small bolts holding on each wing, I don't see any other attachments
Now you just have to paint the screws blue, hehe

Now it goes 20 MPH faster.
