COVID 19: THE SWEDISH WAY - No Lockdown at all, Does it Work?

No Lockdown at all, is this the best method to fight the Pandemic?
Elon Musk complained very hard against the strict stay at home orders put in place in many countries so let’s take a look at 3 different approaches to the COVID-19 emergency, the Italian way (Strict Lockdown), the USA (Variable Lockdown) and the Swedish one: No Lockdown at all…
Besides IF and HOW WELL this method will prove to work, there is a very interesting question we can ask ourselves: “Why taking a different approach, based on the common sense of citizens and mutual trust between people and the government, seems to be only thinkable in Sweden?”
The comment I hear the most is: “Pietro, just #Sweden can do such a thing, people there are different… They follow the rules!!”
So I’d like to ask:
How much do we trust our government? How much do we trust each other?
Do we need those restrictions for objective medical reasons or is it lack of common sense and trust?
I’d really love to know your opinion on this different approach and what you think would be the best way to proceed now that every country is slowing starting to reopen.
