- Here are my 3 tips for making the perfect akara everytime.
Ingredient list:
1 cup beans - peeled and soaked
1/2 small onion - minced
1-3 hot peppers - minced
1/4 - 1/3 cup water for blending
Oil for frying
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon crayfish (optional)
1 - Get your batter consistency right. Use as little water as possible during blending
2 - Aerate your batter before frying to get it all fluffed up
3. Use the proper pan to allow your akara batter to float.
