That at 1:04 is a known bug which has not yet been addressed; a while ago, Ubisoft changed the in-game time (either made it slightly faster or slower, not sure) but The Crew's main server "resets" every night at 2am (GMT+1) and restarts the day-night-cycle at 12am in-game time.
I had a similar problem to 1:52 in NFS 2015, except the game glitched when I crashed after spawning in one too many times, which forced a respawn after having done so, even when I *DIDN'T HIT ANYTHING.*
