Your engagement ring has more soul than any Tiffany & Co. or Cartier piece could ever have! I used to wear gold when my hair was dark chestnut brown. Now that I am salt & pepper, I wear silver and platinum.

I absolutely agree with your assessment on wedding rings and what society dictates as " normal". Your engagement ring is stunning and I dont think I've ever heard a more romantic thoughtful story. Tell Murphy he has alot of fans out here. As far as mixing metals I only wear silver but I think gold and silver mixed together looks really good.
I wear my grandmother’s wedding band [on my left hand] even though i am not married. I like it and it feels comfortable there.

My parents are the same. Both don’t wear their rings. I on the other hand wear multiple rings on every finger almost every day :). Thank you for sharing your collection. It is lovely.

I confess that I have a little box with jewelry that I love but I rarely use. Somehow I love e simplicity of having only my skin and hair as the beautiful aspects.
One of my latest pieces of jewelry I got in Joshua tree last year. The lady makes them out of recycled electronics. Very cool and minimalist! 🙌🏼 love your jewelry collection too!

Love the Engagement Ring...what a precious story....one of my daughter's friends wedding ring is gold inlaid with Dinosaur Bone and Lunar Meteor rocks...she is a Gold Engineering Geologist and he an Archaeologist...LOL.....the thoughtfulness Murphy put into your ring makes your ring soo unique, unusual and special.......

I agree with you on not wearing heavy earrings that pull your ears. I can't stand that. That's why a lot of my earrings are really thin filigree or wood. I would have thought wood earrings would be heavy but they are extremely light and I love how unique they look.

I only own mostly silver pieces I don’t own a lot of jewelry but I don’t mind mixing my gold bee earrings with my silver Pandora bracelet! And I also have a much needed medical alert bracelet! But I got a nice one that looks like a nice piece of jewelry that goes with a lot!
I love jewelry and always notice a beautiful piece on someone else, but most days I don’t wear jewelry because I’m in a hurry and I just run out the door.
Jewelry has come in useful for these zoom mtgs this past year where I feel like I’m kind of grubby on camera and I throw on a pair of chunky hoop earrings and all is right- at least in my book 😀
I really like both of your statement rings. I never take my wedding ring off but only wear my engagement ring when I feel like it. I have both yellow, rose and white gold jewellery as well as a lot of silver but never mix the metals. Love the story behind your engagement ring, Murphy is such a romantic! 😍

Ty for sharing your video. My spouse and I don't wear wedding bands either. I have an engagement ring but it has been fixed so many times i keep it safe to protect it. Don't need a physical itm to show or "prove" our love and respect for eachother. Ty for the watch recommendation, been hunting for one for YEARS and really liked yours.

I am real minimalist when it comes to jewelry. Do have a few pins/broaches which I tend to collect. But no rings, no bracelets, no earrings, no necklaces nor anklets. Have a watch but rarely wear it. I will admire someone's piece of jewelry & ask questions if I feel it to be a remarkable item but to wear myself isn't something that makes me happy as they are for show. Broaches are practical to keep myself modest.

I had quite a bit of jewellery, most of them gifted, but I only use three pieces: my tragus steel earring, a silver ring that I have since I was 20 (now I am 41) and my mother's wedding ring since she passed away last year. I keep all the rest in a box in my closet. I know I won''t use it and have gifted a lot of it, but still feel a bit guilty of giving everything away (except my baptism necklace, that I will always keep because it was my grandma's gift).

Your engagement ring is so pretty and thoughtful and special but it looks really thick like it would be uncomfortable between your fingers.
I'm not a big fan of yellow gold so I don't mix silver and gold mostly because most of my jewelry is silver lol
