Thank you for including jewelers other than Ana Louisa and Mejuri. I’m a little baffled how much youtubers speak of them when there are a lot of other fantastic jewelers out there who don’t get nearly any attention at all.
I love oradina for solid gold pieces. They have 15% off right now for V day. Everything they have is solid gold. I really like their herringbone earrings, a very cool idea I think.
You have such beautiful pieces! I really appreciate how thoughtful and intentional you are about curating your wardrobe. You, Audrey Coyne, and Alyssa Beltempo are definitely my top three favorite fashion TH-camrs.
You have a beautiful collection! You say the video was long but it really flew by, because it's always so relaxing when someone shows their jewellery. For me it takes me back to beautiful memories of my great grandmother... when I was little I was always asking her to show me her jewellery box and to tell me all the stories about the pieces. I am a goldsmith so for me this is double the enjoyment, so awesome that you made your silver earrings yourself! What a sad but interesting link to history that the gentleman who owned the brand of that ring unfortunately was on the Titanic. I think jewellery has this unique enchantment in that, unlike clothes, it is more eternal, its history becomes part of why we cherish it. (I am a Year of the Rat as well! 🐭)
The pocket watch chain as a necklace is so pretty! I will definitely keep my eye out for something similar. If you want statement earings, I would recommend Margaux studio. I'm keeping my eye out on a few of her pieces myself.
You must try 'Alighieri' for stunning statement earrings and jewellery. London based, designer based in Hatton garden. The collections are based on Dante's the Divine Comedy. I'm obsessed with the brand. Think you'll love the pieces. Very unusual. X
I think &Other Stories has some nice statement earrings, also Loft, if you have access to this US brand (or their next step-up line, Ann Talylor, but these can tend more corporate). Loft jewelry is very inexpensive and goes on sale often, but I’ve got some of my favorites from them. I have two different styles of fake pearl hoops from them that I love, I couldn’t afford these in fine versions, but they give “the look”. I wear pearls, at least fakes, most days, they suit my coloring and classic, feminine style, so well.
Because of the frequent, enormous wildfires we’ve been having here in California, I decided to store my silver jewelry in tiny ziploc bags with an anti-tarnish square after polishing. Despite being put away in a dresser, my silver items (I have lots of cheap silver earrings) were always tarnished after the huge fires, the smoke just infiltrates everywhere. After the fires of 2017, which included the “day without sun”, and weeks of almost equally smoky conditions, it took me months to polish everything while watching YT at night. So, now they stay polished, but on the other hand, it’s more difficult to see what I have and choose something. I haven’t bought any silver since, it’s just such a hassle.
Hi Helen, Watch manufacturer Skagen, has a range of what I would call minimalist-inspired jewellery. Kariana Gold and silver tone curl earrings, made of hard-wearing stainless-steel, are only £49, They look pretty cool, and would not tarnish.
Your collection is absolutely beautiful! I don't own a lot of jewellery, so I think I'll look into some of the brands you mentioned PS. Your content has been really good lately but I have to say that I really miss your vlogs. And beauty content, too 🤗
Thank you so so much ❤️ Re the vlogs, I genuinely want to get back to making them (and I will). With covid in Sydney lately, things have been very quiet in my life, a lot of time in front of the computer, a lot of reading BUT I do have plans for vlogs to be back soon! It's so helpful for me to get requests, and I really appreciate it x
Hi Helen. Do you still love your sezane Juliette sweater (the black/white boucle textured chunky one)? How often do you wash it? It looks really nice but I am concerned about the maitenance
So many lovely pieces! I also have a question for you: You wear a lot of gold jewellry, but are you "techlically" a gold or silver person when it comes to skin tone? I'm honestlly struggling a lot with this since I have a skin tone that is more suited to silver (based on all the tests etc with looking at your veins being one of them) and I like to wear silver, however I do think that gold looks more elegant and "expensive" in a way, plus gold doesn't need maintaining the same way silver does... So when I go to buy new pieces that are more expensive I don't really know whether I should go with silver or gold... So I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this
Thank you ❤️ So, I think I am technically a gold person. I have more neutral undertones - both green and blue veins etc, but I think visually gold looks more natural with my skintone. BUT, the thing is I've been wearing yellow gold for so many years, something silver feels really visually interesting as a change :) I think if you are not sure, that probably means both suit you and just choose based on what you like on yourself rather than what is 'technically' best :) I also love to mix metals so that's another route for my indecisive self.
I’m exactly the same. My guru for skin colour analysis is Merriam of Merriam Style channel. (She does a lot of stuff on Kibbe, which I’m not into, but her videos on colour have been illuminating). I’d really encourage you to check it out. According to Merriam, your best metal is gold, if you have a very warm skin undertone, rose gold if you have a slightly warm skin undertone, silver if you have decidedly cool undertone and tarnished silver if you have a slightly cool undertone. I find myself in the tarnished category and while I don’t hate the antique look of a silver piece which is lightly polished with dark tarnish in the chinks, I agree that sometimes the heart wants something shiny and luxurious. I’ve had rose gold recommended to me and I like the look of it on me. I guess, technically it’s next door, as it’s not as yellow as yellow gold. Perhaps that’s something you could consider for yourself. And, in the end, I agree with Helen that we don’t always have to wear our ‘best coloured metals’. Culture and mood and other factors can play into what we like to wear, too.
@@athag1 Thank u so much for the tips! Love hearing this since I feel like I've recently been stuck in all these "rules" since you see them everywhere nowadays! That's why it's always nice to hear that it's not that important - at the end of the day it's just clothes or jewllery 😊 and "breaking" these rules is what makes your style yours, not someone else's 😌
They stack if only the top one has the lid. If you want lids on both then you could put one on top of the other, but they wouldn’t “lock” in place, if that makes sense! The way Stackers are made is so you can have a tower of trays but you only need one lid for the tray on the top

Thank you so much Lauren! I also absolutely LOVE Audrey and Alyssa's content as well :))
I watch a lot of jewelry collections on TH-cam but your collection may be my favourite!

It was so wonderful to hear some of the stories and meaning behind the pieces! It's a beautiful collection. Thanks for another great video!
So happy you enjoyed it :) Thank you for watching ❤️

Your voice is so relaxing 💆♀️
Absolutely love your simple aesthetic and how they all go so well together! ❤️

Be sure. to have the bezel ring checked once a year, they rely on glue which tends to dry out over time, breaking the bond.
Please also do a makeup tutorial of your everyday look. I love your chic and fashionable clothes and makeup. 🙏😍
You have such awesome taste in jewellery! I am super excited to check the links out. Thanks so much for taking the time to link everything.
I love love love your collection. Very delicate and feminine with a modern twist

Loren Stewart 💎✨
What’s you advice for mixing white and yellow gold. I think it looks really weird when I do it
Does the brand for the pink flower earrings have a website?
Hi Helen. Do you still love your sezane Juliette sweater (the black/white boucle textured chunky one)? How often do you wash it? It looks really nice but I am concerned about the maitenance
Hi Helen, unsure if your 2nd piercing (Huggie style hoops) earrings are linked? Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

Try Avec New York
can i ask you if returning items to sezanne from Australia is easy ?
Lovely video!
Question: Those stackers with acrylic lids can they still stack on top of each other? And do u think it will easily scratch?
