Well done, and thank you. We have not had success finding the water jellies you're using. So far we have had luck using pieces of corn tortilla that get several drops of water each day. Some other channel had mentioned them with a side benefit that they can't host grain mites. For heat source, we lost (cooked) a batch of worms we were trying to make pupate with a theraputic heat pad (Walgreen's/CVS type for people). It was on lowest setting and had several layers of terrycloth towel separating. Still too warm. If you are getting stuck for video ideas, I think just some time with the geckos would be entertaining. No narration, just set up a camera to record eating and moving about, snipping out "dead" time. Cheers.
You need to use some kind of thermostat with a head pad to avoid cooking them. I'll provide a link for both. In some of my videos I have the links to the items in the description. I'll go back and add links in all of my videos soon. Jellies amzn.to/3M992ah VivoSun heatpad bundle amzn.to/34EGbte
I started December 2021 with 500 mealworms. Today March 2022, I have all beetles. So far about a dozen have escaped home. The only way out of the bin would be flying. Still trying tp figure out how they got out. Keep posting, thanks.
In the substrate, typically towards the bottom of the enclosure. If you dump your substrate out, you will find some of it sticks to the bottom. Those are egg clusters. You can probably see them, however, they typically have the substrate sticking to them. They are very small
cool! if you're running out of ideas, start doing care guides for them like you're doing for mealworms, (the tarantula would be interesting) and you're straight to the point, so I think you'd get a bunch of views for how short and informational they are. love your videos! - James
Trying to, I just want most of my content to be about feeders and not stray too far from that. I have a shipping video, a roach video, and a useful items for you leopard gecko video all coming out this month. Thanks again!
This video is a fine pure piece of knowledge !
Keep doing kc exotics ✊🙂
Thank you so much! It means a lot!

I believe they might have died and were eaten by the beetles.
Nice!
Thank you!
One final question - where do metalworm beetles lay their eggs? Can we see them with our naked eyes?
In the substrate, typically towards the bottom of the enclosure. If you dump your substrate out, you will find some of it sticks to the bottom. Those are egg clusters. You can probably see them, however, they typically have the substrate sticking to them. They are very small
@@KCExotics Thank you.
how many animals do you have?
1 tarantula, 3 leopard gecko, 1 crested gecko, and then a bunch of insects and isopods!

Is the swimming optional? 😂
