though I had some problem with sea water It also th-cam.com/users/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Your spoon at 13:41could be a caddy spoon, for measuring tea as it's taken from a tea caddy. It looks to be about the correct size for that, and the Dutch were actually into tea-drinking before the British were. Congratulations on finding the gentleman's necklace!!
I agree. It's a tea caddy spoon. We Aussies still use them.

The spoon is actually a scoop for loose tea or sometimes salt. If it's old it could be solid silver. Love the vids. Keep making them! 💖
That glass piece could be a prism for light off of a ship or canal boat!! Usually inserted into the deck for light below decks. Very valuable!

I grew up in Amsterdam during the 70s and 80s. My friends and I used to sometimes go fishing just for fun and we would often see sewage being released into the canals. I would not go swimming in the canals or let any of that water in my mouth.
Can you imagine what they found when they were digging up that old canal!
I tried to get in there but no luck 😂🤙

The pacemaker could be off a dead body which was in the canal. Maybe it's registered somewhere.

I am actually in contact with the local hospital to ensure that this is not a missing person situation. I have given them the the pacemaker Serial Number and they're looking into it!
@@metalrepertor2249 I wondered about that, if maybe so foul play going on. The serial # is associated to a person. My dad had a pacemaker put in in his forties and I’m 58 with no need, but anyway they don’t remove them unless it’s necessary to replace it. They don’t hand you your old one like a souvenir! I’m curious how this plays out, please keep me informed!!

Since its kinda embedded within someones body, or do they give patients their old pacemaker as souvenir?
Good question. We're not sure either. In order to ensure this is not a missing person situation I am working together with the local hospital. Through the Serial Number that I have given them they're looking into it.

I know the guy who lost his gold necklace is very blessed that these guys did that to help him out. That was a small item to find in all that mess and sludge in the water. Premature commenter here again, I'm from the Northwest of USA and I'm four and a half minutes into the video, it reminds me alot of whale watching because you can only see the bubbles of the three guys, when you pointed out who was associated with what bubbles it was reminiscent of a biology pro spotting a specific animal out of a heard and saying oh I know that one! I would give the pacemaker to the police, they can look-up the serial number and see if that person was murdered or committed suicide??? They solved a murder here Stateside with serial numbers off of breast implants, 'course they were attached to a body of an unknown person, when found.

There shouldn't be a pacemaker just sitting in the water. It's not something that is thrown in the garbage. It came from someone's body and I think you should turn it into the police. They can track who it belongs to by the number stamped on the case.

The spoon they found is a very old tea leaf spoon for spooning real tea leafs into a tea pot. I remember from my young days with my Nan. Some where highly decorated 👌

Unbelievable that the necklace was found among so much rubbish! And the little spoon is a sugar spoon. It used to be used on the table and is often made of silver. Nice find! Sugar was expensive so you could measure it with the spoon.
