    This is just the start to this Series. In the videos in the following weeks I will be placing a Lab Cache and explaining the process of building one the guidelines and how to promote it once it is published.

    Excellent video, Derek! I've been geocaching for 11 years and going on 3000 finds, but the Adventure Labs are a new one for me, and after watching your video, I'm looking forward to doing my first one tomorrow (there's one about 5 minutes' drive from me!); it will be an adventure for sure! Thanks again and Happy Caching!

    Perfect timing for to watch this video. Hoping to try an Adventure lab in the next week or so. They look really fun! Was able to download the app and follow along with your instructions perfectly. Thank you so much for posting.

    Glad you enjoyed it. I’m bulcacher. I had never found an adventure lab before I hid that one. I wasn’t sure what I was doing as a hider, but I wanted to get one in Memphis before I went back to Vancouver. I’ll see if I can come up with something better for the journal. Thanks for featuring it. I look forward to doing yours next time I’m in town.

      Behind the Cache I updated the Journal Entries. It’s a lot better now. If they don’t show up automatically in your app, I can send you and any others the screen shots so you don’t have to go back and do it again.

    I love the new adventure lab caches. It gives the game of geocaching a new way of exploring the area around us. Great video.

    How convenient. I'm in the midst of putting together my own Adventure Lab and this video had some good information in it.
    The acrobatic jump over the family was great.

    I’ve really been enjoying Adventure Labs. A caching friend recently added one here in Fort Myers. Not many around yet, but I keep watching out for them. Nice video! Makes me want to visit Memphis again.

      There are more and more coming out. I hope they add a notification feature when a new one is published. There are facebook groups that have a large map of where they are.

    • @redcatt63

      Yes! They should have notifications just like all other caches. Maybe another question for HQ?

    Thanks for creating this video, I appreciate it. I won an adventure lab that I need to use by May, though for many reasons I don't do adventure labs. This video helps reinforce my belief that Adventure Labs should be a different game than geocaching; perhaps I'll make a video about that. Thanks!

    • @BehindtheCache
      @BehindtheCache  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is why there are different types of caches. Everyone can play their own game.

    Nice informational video that I think many people will benefit from as time goes on. I have an Adventure Lab cache that I need to put out before the May 1 deadline. I have my idea on the theme of it, and have a few locations mapped out for it. I'm looking forward to getting it out there and hearing what kind of feedback people provide about it.

    Hi so just a quick question; there is no physical cache that we have to find or get the code numbers from it? Its mainly answering the questions amd if u are able to get all 5 correctly u complete that adventure and can move on to the next?

    • @BehindtheCache
      @BehindtheCache  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Right there is no physical cache. You have to answer the question for that location. Each location counts as a find. But in the Adventure Lab app itself you don’t show it is complete until you complete each location. Some hiders but out a bonus physical cache. And they will have hints in the Adventure in usually the journal part.

    How are people chosen to put together an adventure cache? Is it random or based on how many hides you have? Is there a request form?

    • @BehindtheCache
      @BehindtheCache  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There should be a mystery cache and those are the cords for it. I would think that the owner would have listed the GC code for the bonus cache.
