Honestly the availability of a Victron 48V battery. We prioritize using Victron batteries in our installs. There are a lot of 48V server rack batteries out there but we try to stick with a brand we've used in the past and had good success with. 48V would have worked well here though. Victron also doesn't have a 48V to 12V Orion DC to DC Charger in case the customer wanted to go to truck charging down the road. There just wasn't enough benefits to go to 48V in this smaller sized system with a single inverter.
I have a 45 ft class A. Looks like the roof will handle that number of panels. Total package, exactly like this system. How much are we talking about (+ -) ?. Cheers
What kind of coach do you have? With a motorhome there is a bit more to do and you'll need alternator charging tied in. But you're looking around $20k.
Well done Tom!
Thanks for your support Kevin! This was a big one.
Very nice system, I need something like this on my Entegra Coach
Feel free to bring that Entegra out here to us in Oregon!
Would love to, just gotta save up the money needed. Awesome work
What decessions went into selecting 24 volts versus 48 volts.

Is there a hydraulic leveling system on this right? If so, how is it powered? Do you have two 70 amp dc to dc 24V to 12V converter?
Its a 12V electric leveling system. Just a single Orion 70A 24|12 converter does the trick.

what solar mounting brackets
These are HD brackets we get from one of our Victron distributors - continuous resources.
What is the run time
Probably 8-10 hours without solar. On a sunny day this amount of solar could cover the AC use and have some left over to charge the batteries.
