Sorry for advertising but not everyone gets chance to be in 1 vocal 4 proucer flips. it's hard to be noticed these days as a producer until you work with another already famous producer. Sometimes something that's cleaner and less technical is exactly what's needed for certain tracks.... All the other producers had it written on there faces, she crushed this sample

That drop.... The horn at the front is like the lightning and the following arpeggiation is the thunder and rain. Maybe unintended, but great way to stick with the theme of the lyrics. Brava!
I love the little breaths the beat takes during the arps (during the drop)... Really makes it feel like it's alive. Seriously wonderful job.

Been following Andrew since before youtube, super cool that he's pushing others up, that I never would have found on my own. This track absolutely SHREDS! Not my genre, but I don't care, it made me feel a lot and was not expecting to have any impact, but you brought it HARD!!! Love it!

You were the only one who didn’t mess with the vocals too much making it still recognizable to who they belong, as a vocalist I would love to have someone like you as my producer instead of someone who will just mess with my vocals so much they just become computer sounds. JVNA, you were really the best.

you have to keep in mind that she also did what was the safest option, a hype house kinda beat, VERY WELL but the others did things that were not as conventional.
There's a big difference between a remix and an original song though in most cases. This is a remix, so the producer was free to do exactly what they wanted with all the stems, but had it been an original collaboration between a vocalist and a producer, it wouldn't be so simple.
Bless you for putting the full version out. The drop is absolutely magical.

I’m going to paste over my post from Andrew’s video. But I wanted to head this up by saying that I love this version.
They ALL (can I underline, bold, and italicize the word ALL please?) did amazing work! I was impressed with all of their work and I could envision how each one could be used in some way, as a digital media artist. Brilliant each of them.
Now having said that. I’m going to say that as a Malinda fan I prefer to hear more of her natural singing voice and the lyrics, at least some of the time and be able to really recognize and connect with it in the song. Which I think JVNA was able to connected with that feeling or vibe the best in this... Flip(?).... experiment (?). Whatever it’s referred to, I don’t normally follow producers.
I’m not sure what the other producers’ background are, but JVNA had said in the beginning that she was a DJ and to me JVNA’s sample pulled me right back into my clubbing days. It got my heart pumping and my body moving wanting to dance. Which I believe was an amazing and exciting experience while listening to something so inherently and recognizably Malinda.
While I truly respect the work and talent of the other three artists, because I know it’s hard to edit and create like that, I’m going to say JVNA’s sample was it for me.
JVNA, if Malinda is cool with it, you should really think about doing a full club mix of Running! It would be awesome! I would buy it, and stream it.
