Lalo Salamanca is what takes this show from a 9 to a 10.
My favorite character
Agreed
You mean to 11 LOL
My favorite villain of all time.
@@ericbeech2652 Over Skyler White?
He's not "another crazy lunatic" he's THE crazy lunatic.
Really? I think he's the sanest Salamanca by a huge margin lol.
Lunatic doesnt mean crazy in this case.@@tortoiseoflegends4466
He’s not a lunatic at all tbh. Hes the most intelligent, charismatic, and logistical Salamanca. Yeah he’s evil but all of his actions benefit his motives, he doesn’t act for no reason. Unlike someone like Tuco
@@tortoiseoflegends4466 he's on par with tuco only he can handle his facade when face to face for example the kid at the travel wire
i’d describe him as a sociopath rather than a crazy lunatic. tuco is the lunatic type.
"Lalo is that you? It wasn't me, it was Ignacio!"
Just a normal line of dialog turned into seasons worth of story.😂😂😂
It wasn’t me it was Ignacio, Ignacio.
Lalo didn’t send you, no Lalo?
James, you're wrong: He's not a big fish. I mean, he said it himself: It's going to be like he's not even here. So, he's a cool background character.
He was even a background character in season 3 and 4 of Breaking Bad.
Wait Lalo is a background character? I never saw him beyond this episode. Must be quite low-key
I love that Lalo correctly identifies himself as a background character. The man is so astute he knows his own place within the story.
He’s a gentleman one can say, he knows not to be overbearing. What a cool dude!
it was like he was not even there in Breaking Bad too
I just realized that Lalo and Slippin kimmy come into the show at the exact same time. Wow. Always finding details i missed, even years later.
Same! I just picked it up this time around. The writing in this show is so good.
Jimmy with the Southern preacher accent is the best thing ever 😂
He kind of sounds like Sheriff Buford T. Justice from Smokey and the Bandit.
Yay! Lalo Salamanca enters the scene!
Do you remember when Walter and Jesse drive Saul to the desert wearing face masks to scare him into thinking they were going to execute him in a ditch? And then Saul said "did Lalo send you?". Well, this is Lalo haha!
He also referenced nacho in that scene
"It wasn't me, it was Ignacio!"
To answer your question, Lalo's actor also played Jack the swords guy in Hawkeye. He's super funny in it and yet he's terrifying in this. Great actor.
Jack Duquesne
FYI, It's Coushatta, Louisiana.
Love your videos man! A great way to re-watch the series
Scamming is like an aphrodisiac for Jimmy and Kim lol
He goes from slippin' Jimmy to slip-in Jimmy.
@@pvanukoff I mean, how could he not? His wife's name is literally Kim Sexler.
Lol a first floor window got me
I’ll be here all night lmfao
You know, I think this is my first time noticing it, but when Jimmy makes up the church fire story, he legitimately looks pained. I always get caught up in the comedy of the moment.
Uhhhh, your comment was 8 months ago?
@@davidmitchell3247 perks of being a member/Patreon, I believe. James can upload unlisted videos with exclusivity
@@davidmitchell3247 I'm guessing it's early access members
@@davidmitchell3247yeah, James finished the show nearly half a year ago :D patreons get early access
@@davidmitchell3247 yes! :)
He's here! He's finally here! Lalo Salamanca is here. Things boutta get serious.
Bro saved himself with the “ a *first floor* window” 😂😂
One of my favorite details:
When Jimmy is trying to shoot the commercial to sell his ad space, the make-up girl tries to do the lines but doesn't do a good job.
In this episode, she mentions that she's been taking acting lessons and does a great job on the phone.
It shows how the writers are able to give character growth to even the most minor characters.
Walt was able to escape by short circuiting a coffee maker. Cool little easter egg
Nacho is so much like Jesse. He is living this supposedly great life but not liking a single moment of it.
And Nacho surprisingly becomes the character you sympathize the most for.
@@John_Locke_108 yeah it sucks they killed him off i wish he was able to stay around or at least get away from NM
@@neezduts69420 chill with the spoilers james reads the comments
@@MidnightEkaki it's cool dude we finished it in January ☺️xx
"Who are you prosecuting, Santa Claus?!"
Excuse me, but Santa only comes once a year. My guardian angel Huell Babino is serving his community every blessed DAY!
Lalo, the cherry on top type of character 😁
I missed last weeks upload. No way im missing anymore. Lalo is coming baby. He really just adds a complete curveball to the show. In a good way. Thanks james as always for the reaction.
LALO IS HERE!
When Walt and Jessie capture Saul in the desert, he yells "it wasn't me. It was Ignacio. Lalo didn't send you? No Lalo?" So they created those two characters based on that hint.
Kim Wexler blasting Stereolab put her from S tier to God tier.
This is where the show really takes off
This was a fun episode.
And F'n Lalo. Oh boy. Here we go.
This is the turning point of the season.
He has arrived!
Seeing Lalo's entrance as a character was the equivalent of a mic drop when I first saw this episode. I just had to watch the next episode lol
Literally started your reaction to episode 1 of breaking bad as a casual watcher last week and now here we are lol. Needless to say I’m very invested in your commentary on this series.
great video dude, love to see someone share my excitement for Kim
I think any truly, good hardworking person can relate to Kim’s growth. Even if that comes with it’s own setbacks. one of my favorite characters within the universe of this show and Breaking Bad so far! thanks for the comment!
I love how you immediatly understand the gravity of Lalo Salamanca entering the show! "It's gonna be like I'm not even here" as his music is blasting in the restaurant. Great reaction and commentary as always!
Kim in a Ponytail is a person you don't want to mess with.
Kim loves the con.
This may be my favorite jimmys plan/scam, the writters are so creative with these.
ps:Paca paca paca en mi caballo♫♫
Finally meeting my favorite character of the series
Paca Paca Paca En Mi Caballo!!!
enter Eduardo "Lalo" Salamanca
Definitely a turning point for the show.
Episode lowkey a big turning point for the show, the obviously included but with other characters as well. Planting the seeds👀
I'm sure you remember that in Breaking Bad, when Walt and Jessie kidnap Saul/Jimmy, he was terrified because he thought someone named "Lalo" had sent to men to kill him (in some horrible way, it seems). If you look up "problem" in the dictionary, there should be a photo of Lalo Salamanca.
that ain't no tuna, thats a Great White
Lalo! And you thought you already met all the best breaking bad/better call Saul characters already. Now the show becomes even better, even though that sounds impossible
A NEW PLAYER HAS ENTERED THE GAME! The Salamancas are no freakin' joke, man. Eduardo/Lalo is just as big a player as any of the others~
I love how Jimmy helps Huell and his preacher voice is hilarious. Great reaction James, I hope you’re doing well. Have a great day and take care!
i love how each salamanca has some kinda of bond to food.
You are absolutely my favorite person to watch on TH-cam reaction videos, but you just wait, you will see who this guy is and you don't know what is going to hit you but it's gonna be great. I love watching you Bro
18:29 if you’ve seen a Hawkeye, you’ve seen Tony Dalton
Lalo's a real big fish
The rescue of Huge Babbadook is pure cream
Welcome to Lalo's world!
Scamming - or slippin' - is legit something that gets Kim and Jimmy off. It starts to fuel their relationship, not dissimilar to addicts.
And at last, we meet Lalo. Can't wait for next week!
This was my favorite episode of the series.
My dude mistaking "LA" abbreviation for Los Angeles instead of Louisiana, lmao
Lalo is here to spice things up 🌶
He is a fish alright… damn!
16:03 the sound of Bob Odenkirk's head on the wall, Auch
I dno if you remeber the scene in BB where walt and jesse kidnapped saul and had him on his knees blindfolded at a grave. He asked " did Lalo send you!?"
The Mike alarm clock: *beep beep beep* "Good morning sunshine, now here's what's going to happen. You're going to get out of *that* bed, brush *those* teeth and get breakfast started. Hop to it."
There have been TV characters, but Lalo is top notch.
James, I'm so glad to hear you talk about Kim in such a way as "if they kill her in this show, I'm going to go out the window," because that's EXACTLY how I felt when I watched this show... one show each week on AMC... having to wait between seasons... it was BRUTAL! I still can't believe Rhea was never acknowledged from the Emmys; her character was one of the greatest.
Big Black, Beef Nacho, love your nicknames James for these great BCS characters. Can't wait to see the reactions to the BEST villain in the series, Lalo.
Lalo Salamanca has entered the chat!
Saul name checked Nacho AND Lalo in his first Breaking Bad episode.... "It wasn't me it was Ignacio (Nacho), Hes the one! Lalo didnt send you? No Lalo? Oh thank god!"
Ladies and Gentlemen, Lalo Salamanca has entered the building. Things are going to the next level. Hold on tight.
i wonder how far he would have gone had gus not taken him out
18:52 I WAS WAITING FOR THIS SINCE SEASON 1
Omg can’t believe I’m watching this four days late and LALO IN DA HOUSE!!! 🤯😱😂🔥🌪️💥
The introduction of Lalo is where the story of this show truly begins imo
He’s here😃
This episode is one of my favourites, the Huell scam is one if the best, slippin kimmy shows up and the cherry on top: motherfucking Lalo Salamanca. I love that dude.
Welcome to one of the best characters in the entire Breaking Bad universe :) Tony Dalton absolutely KILLS it as Lalo
Dang, I forgot how good this episode was. The "Pastor Jimmy" scene is one of his best cons ever. The introductory scene for Lalo was epic as well. A perfect intro to a new class of villain👀
I had a visceral reaction to seeing Lalo’s first appearance and all I’ll say is he is one of my favorite characters in the entire series. Breaking bad included.
Lalo is a top 3 character in the BB world to me.
Holy crap! The Judge is Neelix from Star Trek Voyager.
Let’s do it again 🔥
My favorite hustle of the series.
Very curious to see his view of Saul and Kim as the show goes on me personally I know how I felt and all I’ll say is it was a very extreme feeling, and that feeling was a feeling
"It's gonna be like I'm not even here." Uhh... Yeah. Right. 'Nother great reaction to a great episode :)
And the entrance of the "psycho Bugs Bunny" into the Breaking Bad universe has arrived! Can't wait to see how you react to what's comin', cuz, goddamn...
we hope you enjoy the reactions!
This is in my Top 5 episodes of this series
It's Lalo Time!
And now you’ve met the real devil of this universe
3:10
He got roasted for good lol
kim and jimmy making out will never not be gross to me lol
Kim's getting hooked on that adrenaline.
Bruh, LA is the abbreviation for Louisiana! 😂 Huell’s from Coushatta, Louisiana
Walt enters the lab to cook
Lalo be like: Dont worry It's gonna be like I'm not here
Welcome Lalo! 😀
Michael Mondo has studied martial arts for many years. You could say he's big into martial arts.
They sure took two random names from BB, and gave them so much story, thus retroactively giving the BB scene more weight.
Sound the trumpets...Lalo is here.

Much love!
Inspiring😊
This man Mike
ooh boy. Lalo has arrived.
finally the only real mexican of the show, you can hear it in the accent
The Free Will Baptist Church...LOL!!!!
Remember what "Saul" was scared about when Walt and Jessie first kidnapped him?
....
A new Salamanca has entered the ring
Enter Lalo: We have just gone to a whole new level!
Enter Lalo:
James: "I've seen him before"
Me: "probably Far Cry"
😆
Michael Mando (Nacho) was in Far Cry...I don't recall Tony Dalton (Lalo) being in it though. Maybe I'm wrong?
5:09
I heard that actor trains Muay Thai in his free time
Governor Tankerbell is still alive.
"Michael!"
