CAUTION DO NOT ADD ADDITIVES OR ANY OTHER SUBSTANCE TO THE FLUID. WHEN USING A FUNNEL OR ANY OTHER EL- EMENT, MAKE SURE IT IS PERFECTLY CLEAN.
I have a few review videos on the channel. But happy to tell you here that I love that bike. If the one you are buying is the 8V model, make sure the recall was done for the tappets.
The oil drain bolt is at the back of the engine not at the front and is a 17mm bolt. Don't fill up with more than 3 litres as it will make its way into the airbox, the right amount is between the low and the high mark
No. That first check is to make sure the level is close. On an oil change, I Drain the oil and remove the filter. I measure out the new oil into a container. Add all the contents of the container. These days I put a little oil in the filter before installing. I run the bike for a few k’s, then check the oil with the bike in an upright position. Normally if you have measured the oil into a container, the level should be perfect when you check after the short run.
@@RoadsOfOz Thank you Sir! My bike is an '84 V65C and my mechanic has me on Motul 10-60. I aspire to a Griso, and am enjoying your channel! Please forgive if i chide your mispronouncing "Guzzi" as in "Fuzzy", my dear Gee!
Don't be. You are paying for the knowledge and time of a qualified mechanic. If it was a minor service, they would have done more than just change the oil and filter too.
I like put a little oil in the filter to avoid starvation
Thank you.. 👍
No worries. Glad you enjoyed the video.
love your vids mate!

Thanks for the video! I am interested in a 2007 Grisso and wondered how you like this machine?? Has it been fun to ride and reliable? Thank you!

What is the bolt at the front for then?
@@JC-lk3oy I think its for an oil cooler attachment on the Stelvio
There also isn't a crush washer for that bolt
Nice just did all the liquids on my 13 griso. It’s interesting though on the 13 the drain plug is on the rear of the oil pan.
My thoughts exactly.;-)
Thanks for the information.. so it’s pretty close to 3.5 litres? I’ve just got the factory oil filter..
Thanks again much appreciated!
Its easier when you heat up the new Oil a bit.
Then it will get better through the Funnel.
Hello, Nice vidéo ! Just a question, how to remoove the maintenance allert ? Does it exist a command ?
Check out Griso Ghetto. It has a detailed description on how to do this. Along with a heap of other useful info and tips for Griso ownership.
hi so you check the oil level on the side stand, not with the bike completely level?

"oil quite thick" - are you using multi-vis oil?
