Francis' Church is one where excommunicated schismatics, like Luther (who had popes at Trent and that Council declare he taught error, one of which was on Justification) get boosted, with Francis saying he didn't err; plus he boosts Anglican schismatics as well.
And it's supposed to be legitimate he knows Viganó is a schismatic?
I’m a 78 year old cradle Catholic and never did I think that this would happen in the church. I always would rely on the words of the Pope. Recently I fear this papacy is trying to lead us down the wrong path. I pray for him but I do not trust him. He needs many many prayers
I think many of us cradle Catholics know something is not right.
Something is not right and hasn't been for a very long time. I don't know why we are putting up with it. Jesus can't be pleased with what has happened to His church. He forgave sin while here but he didn't tolerate it or overlook it.
The papacy is a circus. It's embarrassing and I will not listen to Francis.

The dynamics of what excommunication entails, due to Vatican 2 and Canon Law (1983) has altered what the Church taught.
Those who have no access to Traditional sacraments can now point to Canon 844, for the Post-Conciliar crowd, in receiving from Viganó.
Per Canon 844 (§§2, 3 and 4 of this canon and in can. 861 §2) now applies to him concerning those who wish to receive the sacraments from him, and he may now even be closer to the Church per Francine standards after this!

What is Vigano saving? He fully acquisced in recognizing the schismatic antipope Bergolio for years and its still not clear what his actual position is!

One more important thing i learned today in a talk by a priest, that Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano when as nuncio on a tour of church institutions in the US, was surprised to see that McCarrick, despite orders by Pope Benedict and that his shameful activities were known by many, was functioning normally. Subsequently, McCarrick was even put in charge of the church dept to protect children from abuse! And this probably turned things about for Vigano. Rest is regretable history.
I heard that talk as well its like the Priest said a cesspool of depravity Vatican 11 we have to keep praying the Rosary 🙏✝️

May I add that all of antipope Bergolios decisions, rulings and ecclesiastical actions are utterly null and void.
I’m an 84 year old cradle Catholic and I’m appalled at the upheaval in our Church over the past several years. Bishop Strickland has expressed the Archbishop Vigano problem clear,y and succinctly. We must pray (especially the Rosary) that the Faith is preserved.
All churches are going through upheavals mainly because love is not taught. Without love no church can stand. As love departs the church trembles and shakes. Lust is the precise opposite of love, hate is not. Hate is only a product of lust. When lust is allowed to enter a church, God pulls His children out. Whether it be a lust for power, money or sex or any diverse form of lust, a church is weakened and if love does not come back, it is destroyed. Love is the greatest commandment in the whole of scripture. The lustful are not allowed in the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who have repented and based their faith upon love and maintained it to their last breath will be saved and can safely enter in. I am 70 and I have great respect for a person of your age, God has truly shown you His love and his grace and many mercies. I love you and know that Jesus Christ loved you first, from before the earth was created. May God continue to bless you ! A friend always !

Of course there is a double standard---if a priest is gay, nothing happens, if a priest follows what the church teaches, he is excommunicated.
Can't wait to see what this Synod on Synodality in October is all about. "Married" Priests, female Priests, acceptance of every perversion known to man, basically, "you will surely not die. You will be as God knowing good from evil". So, everyone is god (with a lower-case "g"). I think we already know the outcome.

If he had truly addressed these things, there wouldn’t be such problems in the Church. Where is the punishment and excommunication against those who are destroying the faith? Instead, Jesus’ defenders are punished and excommunicated for defending the catechism.

We can all see where pope Francis is going with these acts which are not the right ones, especially when he doesn't take action about those who obviously are sinners. I think that the dark forces have totally blinded those who should follow the Holy Spirit and seminate confusion within the priests which is their purpose. How to put an end to this huge huge problem? God will provide one way or another, let us be patient and pray.

No matter what’s happening in the Catholic Church I’ve been attending a Latin Mass for more than 30 years, I would never go to the orthodox I was baptized confirmed, and I will die a Roman Catholic. I pray for Archbishop Vigano. I believe it is going to come back on Frances for what he has been doing along with his minions. We have to stick with our faith ,not go to another faith, stick with our faith. And this is what I pray for everyone. Stick to the immemorial mass. And God will do the rest, if we are faithful he will be faithful he will not turn his back on his sheep. God bless.

The truth hurts! This is why Vigano has been excommunicated. Venerable Archbishop Sheen warned us about the Ape of the Church saying it will have the appearance of religion but devoid of divine content. Our Lady of LaSalette said Rome will lose the faith. When the Vatican 🇻🇦 reverts to paganism you know these prophesies have arrived. It’s also been prophesied that the laity will save the Church.

When Archbishop Lefebvre was excommunicated, the Archbishop continued on with life. It never slowed him from the ministry. Archbishop Vigano fell victim to Pope Francis and his Curia.

@@fredricos9468 fyi, The Rosary is taken from the bible on the events of the life of Christ. It was Our Lady who gave the Rosary to St. Dominic to combat the albigensian heresy. The Rosary can be said for many reasons.

I am totally allegiant with AB Vigano. He has been a Shephard in the Catholic faith for over 50 years. Now he's excommunicated from the church. He was only doing his job well by informing us of everything that has been going on in our Church. I pray for Vigano and Bergolio. God be with you. God sees everything and AB Vigano, your justice and loyalty to God and the church will be rewarded by our Savior, Jesus Christ.
So sad to hear all of this. But meanwhile they are closing 50 percent of Catholic Churches in Buffalo NY because the diocese has no money to pay all the sex abuse victims!! We all must suffer for the sins of a few. One of these priest's was at my church when I was a child at St. Gerards school. He is now decease but did a lot of damage.

I agree with Bishop Strickland. Archbishop Viganó has stood for what Jesus Christ teaches and has not denied or waffled in ambiguity to sound popular in the eyes of the world. We must never deny Christ because He is the one and only cause of our salvation. The faithful Archbishop has courageously upheld the purity of the morality of the Holy Catholic Church. We must all be faithful to God's moral law. King David had the humility and courage to reorder his life after the Prophet Nathan exposed his sin to him and this drew David back into God's friendship. Acts of obedience to the Catholic Church must serve the Faith, not confuse or starve the faithful of being fed the truth. I personally cannot comprehend how Archbishop Viganó's criticisms could incur any real excomunication since they are only aimed at righting a Church Ship of Faith listing and in danger of sinking because of so very many moral holes in its hull.
This excommunication of Vigano by Francis feels like a political move against his opponent more than a move to make a point of faith. Francis thinks like a politician, not a Pope. Even doing it on July 4th... not a coincidence.

Because of Biden, my children n grandchildren don’t agree that abortion is a sin. I am alone without a family had many insults. The Lord is with me, all I can do is pray for my family. This is really sad about Bishop Vigano, Strickland n all the other priest that were taking out. It really makes me cried……praying.

Agree .The excommunication of Archbishop Vigano has been reduced in its purpose due to rampant examples of dissent of Catholic morality and precepts, tolerated without correction by and from the Vatican and beyond . No excommunications have been attached to well known and tolerated dissenters.

This is all so very confusing, which is part and parcel what Satan wants us to be going through rather than praying and staying faithful to our Catholic faith.
Once you study the history of the infiltration it is no longer confusing. Satan has been given 100 yrs to destroy the Church. He will fail. It's being done from the inside. Anyone who holds onto the true faith will be pushed out of the way.

There's a reason and purpose Bishop Strickland wrote those remarks. Of course, I'm not saying that as a matter of fact. I'm merely saying it as an objective observer of the events that define our time. I can only conclude that an excommunicated prelate no longer has standing, meaning that accusing Francis of anythink unholy or unorthodox will never see the light of day. On the other hand, Vigano is a smart man. If he is honest, and I believe he is, he will prevail, and justice will be won. The weight of excommunication will be lifted and turned against Francis. Sin will always be found out.
By excommunicating him, less people will take what he says seriously.
Remember Galileo who dared to say the world is round not flat?
Let's be honest, when it comes to causing division in the Church, who is the greatest offender; Pope Francis or Archbishop Vigano? 🤔

I hardly recognize my church anymore. Seeing the Pope befriend, welcome, ignore the horrible things that so called Catholics do that go against our faith makes me believe this Church as we know it, is fastly approaching its end.
The thing that horrifies me is how Biden and Pelosi seem to go against the Church but receive sacraments. Maybe there's confession, but they then do the same things again. That's what gets to me

The Church has NEVER had a perfect record. But it was much worse under Pope JP2's pontificate. He was just very charismatic that it made you forget about the seismic problems the Church had at the time

Does anyone remember around 7 years ago one of the Catholic bishops of Africa ( i don't recall the region ) excommunicated Francis for being a heretic ! This bishop was in good standing with the magisterium. Why was it ignored ? I really need to know.
I don't think that a bishop can excommunicate a Cardinal or a Pope. There would have been many popes excommunicated in the past if this was possible.

As laity we need to seek TRUTH and not compromise. We see the injustice within the Institution of the Roman Catholic Church and can’t support pedophiles while priests who are holy are removed….not to mention excommunication which is unconscionable.

Wasn’t McCarrick excommunicated by B16, and Francis lifted it? If so wouldn’t that make it even worse?
No! McCarrick was laicized/defrocked/not a priest anymore! He was unfit to stand trial given some form of dementia. He is in his 90s and has medical and cognitive deficits (dementia of some type). He also did not say at any time (as also did Athanasius in the 300s whose name was mentioned being excommunicated twice) that the Pope is not the Pope. Vigano has said that all the Popes after Vatican 2 are not really Popes and is excommunicated. Actually think this through: This would mean any of us who have received sacraments from men who became priests after V2 are invalid. So, I disagree there is a double standard as defined by Strickland. We really need to be assessing more carefully/logically. I agree with Dr Marshall that we all need to be praying more!

That's not true. The post-Vatican II sacraments could be valid, but it's questionable. There's lots of good Catholic videos on this. Even Fr. Hewko said they could be valid. That's the problem; we don't know for sure.
