      Sonax Cutmax for top of the line or HD Cut+ to save a little money.

    I am speaking for a lot of us here when I thank you for being a straight shooter. Showing us flaws and being transparent instead of trying to sell us every damn product that comes down the line. You good sir... are one of the VERY FEW I trust on TH-cam! :)

      Couldn't have said it better myself. Brian is on the short list of people on youtube I consider trust worthy; especially as the wannabe "prosumer" I'm trying to be.

    Super transparent! I’m interested to see if anything tops Sonax on the podium. For me nothing has thus far, but I’m sure something else will come about!

    I really like their labeling. Clear and informative especially their Cut and Gloss rankings. Very helpful and smart. They took the Megs cut bar and made it better

      I start to use this products and the final result realy is verry good. We compared universal Honey compound with other on the market and the result is 1:0 for Honey- one step.

    Great video and informative content 👍🏻I have a question?When I wax my car the double soft microfiber towel that I use to wipe the wax off.Should I only use it once before I wash it? The towel doesn’t get loaded up I apply the wax by hand.Also if I use a spray like ceramic boost should I not use the towel again? I usually keep the towel and use it a few times then wash them.Thanks I appreciate your help ✊

    • @apexdetail85
      @apexdetail85  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use one towel for each task...not cross contaminating products...but that is my OCD talking there.😜

    Hello Brian I went to this company's website. I did not see any of these polishes listed on the website. They only showed an all in one polish. I can you give me a link to these polishes.

    I had my Viper in a shop for service. It's very soft black paint that I corrected to the best of my ability over the summer and had it looking pretty good all things considering. Got the car home today, and it's covered in light to medium scratches on the doors, fenders, roof and hood. I was expecting some fingerprints and possibly some light marring, but this was completely excessive and careless. Sorry to vent here, but this is the most appropriate channel to do so lol. BTW This line looks awesome and user friendly, might have to order this to fix my car again...

    • @bigd9848
      @bigd9848 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jimmyqballs That absolutely is terrible. I would definitely have said something to the owner but I would not have him fix the scratches unless he pays a professional. I never let anyone wash or wax my car. The dealer always says we will have it detailed and I say don’t touch it please. I see kids washing the cars it would be full of scratches if they do.Best to do your car yourself 😎

    • @jimmyqballs
      @jimmyqballs 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bigd9848 Yeah, it's one of those things where it's partially my fault. I should have specified how anal I am with the car and not to put anything on the car. The roof has one of those obvious patterns where he had a box on the roof, and it either slid off or he drug it across it, then wiped the shop dust with a shop towel. To these guys, swirl marks and marring aren't scratches. They'll go to a car show and wipe their car down with a single microfiber and a detail spray after they cleaned the wheels with it! I absolutely tell them do not wash the car, I've seen their methods and none of those shops work clean lol

    • @apexdetail85
      @apexdetail85  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I always hang a sign on my mirror that says "DONT WASH" When I take it for service. They can shove the courtesy wash up their a.....

    • @jimmyqballs
      @jimmyqballs 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@apexdetail85 That's a good idea. I've seen how clean those guys work, using the same bucket and wash mitt to do 15 cars in a day... No thanks! I'm going to document my work and hopefully make a halfway decent video of the assessment and attempt to fix it. I do want to take it somewhere just to get some paint depth readings before I start compounding the car again for the 2nd time in a year...
