I see - from the comments - that many know Loscil. Could you give us
some recommendation for listening, maybe you favourite album (and why).
Thanks in advance - and for posting this excellent music.
I enjoy "Stases" very much. (Hopefully I am using these terms correctly), but it is a drone and ambient album; as one reviewer said, he creates relaxed and spacious "sound-beds", so to speak. They are not static songs, and are quite melodic, but in a subtle fashion. The song "biced" is a personal favorite.
"Coast/ Range/ Arc" is excellent.
You honestly can't go wrong. He hasn't released a bad album to date. My personal favorites are Endless Falls and Sketches from New Brighton. He also did an album with Bvdub called Erebus that is just incredible.
Brilliant thanks. I can't keep up with all the suggestions, but I'm waiting for a copy of "Endless Falls" to arrive. Listening to "Submers" at present.
