      Hi Taylah, any chance you can do a video on how to buy from Alibaba? I’ve tried a few times and end giving up. I’d love a video from you that would make more sense!

    Yay! Don’t get discouraged by your industrial there will be a learning curve,they are much different than domestics everyone that gets a industrial goes through it I was in a sewing funk when I finally received my industrial I didn’t sew for a few months but once I got on that thing I fell in love. I have the juki DU-1181N and I use it for bag making, I destroy domestics lol

    I love my Juki, make sure for every 8 hours of sewing you oil it to keep it quiet and for it to perform its best! I also noticed with mine in the past several years even if you don’t think your needle is bad chance it when you oil it!

    I bought my industrial machine last year and I’m really pleased with my purchase. It took a little time to get used to but I couldn’t go back to a domestic machine now. Yes, the motor is very quiet so no problem sewing late at night time lol. My machine isn’t computerised like yours but it’s still a real workhorse. Happy sewing ❤️🇬🇧

    Congratulations, you made the right choice, Jukis are the best industrial machines. You're workflow is going to be 5 times faster now.
    And for the table in the middle, IKEA is the best choice. We got ourselves two kitchen elements and put them also in the middle from the room.
    You're going to get a sturdy table and also a lot of storage underneath, just perfect.

    Probably a bit late for this advice, but regarding your Singer on the shelf being stiff and acting up, that sort of thing will often be caused by bits of thread getting jammed either around the takeup lever mechanism at the top of the machine or in the hook mechanism down at the bottom. Both should be pretty easy to access and clean out: for the hook mechanism you can just unscrew the needle plate and pop out the bobbin case to clean up under there, and for the takeup lever you should be able to remove some panels on top with a few screws to dig out any stray thread bits and lint.

    So glad I stumbled across your video. I have a 8000A industrial but couldn’t get any advice from the manufacturer on how to program it. I’d be really interested in videos that went through setting the functions (and using them). I’ve fiddled with mine but I can’t fathom what I’m doing! 😂😂😂 loved you video ❤️

  • @naomimartell8937
    @naomimartell8937 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I took a closer look at your Juki 8000A in your video and it’s threading and bobbin winding is exactly like my Juki 9000C. If you need any help let me know. I am so excited for you and hope you love your new machine. You will have a hard time going back to a home machine for any straight stitching (though they come in handy for other stitching and as a backup).

    • @TaylahRose
      @TaylahRose  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Naomi! I did have a look at the one you suggested but seemed similar with threading and bobbin as you’ve said, I’ve found the bobbin to be so small (even tho it’s the same as domestic size) I go through them so fast I’ve just ordered 20 more so I can have them all ready to go when I’m sewing in bulk 😂

    Taylah, can you give any tips on making and selling scrunchies, just for the sake of making money for my child's private school. For example, what would little girls prefer, how many scrunchies do you think I should make (it's a smaller school), etc. Should I make anything else? I'm on the PTA and I want to help raise money.

    • @TaylahRose
      @TaylahRose  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Check out my market photos on Instagram and the patterns I have on the first board (left) of the standing 3 boards, that should give some ideas! Unicorns, rainbows and sparkles are best. I’m not to sure I guess it depends on the school size 😊 I have a bow tutorial on my channel they can be a bit more fiddley if your not used to them tho

    I think I'm about to purchase the same Juki! What do you think about the automatic thread trimmer? I saw that you could buy a specific model (the 8000AB-MS) that cuts the threads up super close to the fabric so you don't have to snip manually. Not sure if that's necessary.

    • @TaylahRose
      @TaylahRose  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love it! I think it’s already super close and depending on what you make you may not even need to cut threads! I wouldn’t think it to be a necessity for myself but it would be a cool feature!

    I have had an issue with my machine just not sewing properly at all once, and It would just not stitch. The reason why? The bobbin area was loose so when it would grab the thread to “use it”, it would get caught on the side of the slot piece, idk what it’s called haha. But yeah I spent 2 hours on something I fixed in 5 seconds
