I'm a Swede and we don't do this. I'm almost offended. Can someone please tell me where this originated?

Sorry, I didn't make this up. That's just what people around here call it.

@@ChefDez I know but I don't understand why someone thought of doing this and then blame Us. 😅 It's dangerously close to a straight war proclamation, I don't care how tasty someone may find this. I'm kidding, of course. Our army wouldn't make much of a dent, I'm afraid.

Utilize a paper towel [or a cheesecloth] within the strainer to collect all the coffee grinds.
    Bada Bing!!!

But when you use the strainer, even the egg is left out along with the coffee granules.

When I was little, I saw Steve Martin in a movie, and he was making coffee, and he put the grounds in a pot and cracked an egg in it. That was bizarre enough to me that I never forgot it. When I tried looking it up to see if people really did that at one point, all I was finding was a Vietnamese egg coffee, but that's very different. This was the first video I found that actually shows what I was looking for. Thanks for that. As a tip from a viewer though, you should get a lapel mic. Even a cheap'O one would be better than yelling at your iphone in your echoe-y kitchen, lol.
    Well wishes to you! ^_^

Oh, nevermind. Just looked at your newest video. Looks like you already got the mic sorted out. 🙃
