I correctly predicted the Winner, Method of Victory and Round on every fight of the 299 Main Card in a Pick Em League with some of my mates, definitely my best picks along with my most accurate reasoning. Calling JDM to stop Burns in the third round made me happy. Holloway to school Gaethje. Topuria to finish Holloway. DDP to finish Izzy. Worst picks: Costa to stop Whittaker. Whittaker to beat Khamzat (would do it again). Edwards to beat Belal. Saint Denis to beat Moicano. Your breakdowns have definitely helped me form opinions over matchups I've been uncertain about. 65% is very impressive.
Or maybe look closer? Colby’s only real top level experience is getting beaten purely on the feet by a wrestler twice. Everything else is him out cardio-ing 38 year olds with name value. Belal at the very least went through a ringer. Vicente is better than any of Colby’s jobber wins. So is Burns. Both Usman and Colby put themselves in a box career wise. Usman only really fought Colby and Jorge to pad title wins and it gave him confidence to strike a lot more getting him finished. Then after it he didn’t look the same because he spent ages fighting Colby and Jorge who aren’t that good and now is out of depth against the real new age of top level Welterweights. Colby on the other hand was never that good. The Maia fight striking wise was close for the first half and Maia gave him the same cut Buckley gave him. Not a single current good fighter in his win column and when you look at his loss column up until Buckley it’s all champ fights. The only reason he isn’t Neil Magny RIGHT NOW is because of poker money and American fans rallying for repeat title shots.
1.Jamal Hills stand-up defense is sub par, Glover was landing on him. 2. Jemele Hill's knockout power ,very sub par. Couldn't knock out anyone except low tier opposition. Which is also why he's probably going to lose against Jeri. Even if Jamal lands he doesn't have enough power to take him out IMO.
Predicting fights is fun win or lose, what was your most accurate prediction this year? ☘

Great video idea
Nice work man, thanks. We appreciate it. It is important to admit your mistakes, in order to correct them.
The MMA gods are fickle. That's not a bad rate.
I'll stick around and see how you do next year.
I need to track this stuff this year. Def good for betting to see where you do well and where you do badly.
🔥🔥🔥
wondering if your pick % would’ve been higher if you picked all the favourites? enjoyed the video man new sub here :)
@@BrendanHunter-pm9js I don’t actually know. Thanks for subscribing
Rank every 2024 PPV poster and do some poster talk again please.
I will, likely as a segment in a video coming soon
The best pick you'll have in 2025 will be Shamiel Gaziev to beat Tom Aspinall
@@gutcheckfm Can’t wait to break this one down! Currently leaning towards Gaziev so we’ll see
I also picked Colby to beat Leon and then was sold on Leon and lost to Belal. Makes no sense other than Colby being hurt.

65.49? You’re better than anthony smith at making predictions
On paper he's better than me.

Lol
If you were to bet on all these predictions would you have made bank?
Unsure but probably
It wasn't your fault that you picked Shamil Gaziev. I mean how can anyone pick against that guy! He'll be the champ in 2025 or in 2026 at most. 🦛
