Magnificent work! Just as majestic as the glory of Roman architecture and design. The commanding nature of these buildings and the classical Latin language were a truly impressive time in history even without electricity and sophisticated plumbing.
This is absolutely amazing, thank you so much for the brilliant work! That model of Jupiter Capitolinus took my breath away. You totally got a sub and a share from me.
this needs to be a educational videogame or an interactive 3d virtual tour. where you can run around and explore the entire city. with maps and information on the sites.
It would be great to have some kind of idea what we're looking at. I've been to Rome, walked through the Forum, etc. I did recognize some things but most of it was difficult to pin down. Great job, though!
I am taking a history of architecture-course, it's mostly history, but we do have to know some basic elements of the structure of buildings and building materials. We also look at floor plans. Your video really nice, to be able to see what we are learning, come to life. It's so beautiful. I am sure you put in a lot of work into it, thank you very for sharing. I have an idea for you, you could do the terra-cotta army in China. I have seen a picture of it done over in bright colors, amazing. My instructor has shown a few still pictures of ruins, that have been made over, to demonstrate what they may have looked like. He went on about the beautiful and structurally ingenuous aspects. Then he said "they painted them in gaudy colors". I though that was so funny because it's his opinion. I am a "bright color person" and think that is the only way for them to have painted them. I have seen a few other 3D reenactments, and yours are much higher quality. Some have really bad music. Others spin around too fast and we don't get a good look at it. So thanks, I will be spreading around the word to my fellow classmates.
What have we become, us, the Western people?.... I want to cry. We survived the fall of Rome, but it took 1000 years to recover. Will we survive the mess that our politicians have now created? Nice video though....
We don't care, I know it stinks, it's very corrupt and I'll probably be starving the whole day, I might catch smallpox and die or perhaps I will die in battle after 30 mins of bleeding out from my painful wounds, or perhaps I'll make it to a position then get killed by another Politican so that they can take my money. I STILL DON'T CARE, it sounds more exciting than the present I live in.
21 Aprile 753 A.C. Se chiedi ad un Italiano la nascita dell Italia non la conosce. Ma se gli chiedi quella di Roma.La maggior parte ti da la risposta giusta.
Blessed be Greatness of CAESAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE WORLD IS YOURS BLESSED EMPEROR AND RULER. MANY THE GODS ALL HIGH THE CREATORS BLESS YOU AND GIVE YOU THE POWER TO RULE JUSTLY.
It is quite important, so I can know if I'll be able to play it under Linux! Some engines will work natively, others under wine, and other would be impossible
If the models are exported to COLLADA, they could conceivably run on any engine. Might they be made available cheaply for non-commercial work, or possibly through supporting you?

Excellent work, but much idealised. It probably was far dirtier, smokier, and more colorful than this model would have us believe. Walking around and over many obstacles of all sort: potholes, loose cobblestones, dung of every kind, rotting hay and sawdust. But probably still worth a tour!
I hope the next Assassins Creed game takes us to Rome, sure we had Rome before in AC:Brotherhood but I want to see and explore Rome in it's glory days.
If everybody always told you "1st & 2nd class humans exist" and if you lived in that city 2000 years ago, you would believe it without hesitating 1 second.
This is very well done but where are we? What buildings? What part of Rome? And the music, please?! It’s excessively dramatic, somewhat bathotic and just does not encourage a rational inquiring state of mind. Perhaps you all think your viewers would not be interested without a whiff of Hollywood blockbuster music. A tremendous wonderful effort but does not leave one more informed than one was at the start.
Have you done something similar but for the Republican period? We in the US, living in a republic, are more interested in the model which our founders based our system of government. I know the English took the empire or Principate system as their political model but the Americans didn't. That is why we are so attracted to anything Roman republic. Thanks.
THE MAGNIFICENT,GRANDEUR,GLORY AND SUPREMACY OF ROME AND ROMAN ARCHITECTURE!
Even the classical Latin language was regal, commanding, proud, and beautiful.
Well done, citizen.
❤

Somebody please invent a Time Traveler.
And Then Modern peoples will fuck up ancient Rome
Tim it's me, You. Don't do it.
Its haven been invented already!! Look it up
Too dangerous!!! Just use vr ;)
King Richard Ancient Rome did a great job at fucking itself up :)
Well Done! I showed this to my class! They were amazed!
I love the thumbs down WTF? YOU make a 3D video of ancient Rome! Smart asses!
Amazing. Tear up every time
This is simply amazing, thank you for your hard work, I can't wait for it to be available.

Beautifully done, joyous to look at and your choice of music is so fitting imo🇮🇪😊 really enjoyed this

Jack R kind of like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood?
Paniekzaaier tje lol yes
Beautiful and very nostalgic! 🌹
The fact that all this shit was built by hand w no machinery is crazy. Imagine if these guys discovered electricity and used it!
kid ker well they had a lot of slaves
Well, they knew how to use steam, if they had explored magnetic effects and the connection between movements and magnets, they might've done wonders.
coderHUN Eh, the steam power was only really used to automatically open temple doors and stuff like that
@@leaderunith4l324 They had heated baths too
However, we will never know
Well it kinda did happen. 😜
Rome never fell. It simply evolved. Hail to the people of Rome.
Wonderful Job!!!

If this is how majestic the city was in 320 AD, imagine how majestic it would have been during the reigns of 5 good emperors.

what is the small white temple at 3:15 just to the left of center, please?
Complimenti Danila!
This is really amazing!
Thank you for wonderful work
I wish they would show the Colossium, Circus Maximus, and other famous buildings. It would be great if they show the entire city of Rome.
I think this was only Capitoline Hill
is the music from gladiator
yes it's from "Gladiator"
No, Gladiator is from the music
Timmy O'toole from Hans Zimmer!😁
I just put it on mute and play some Shadowfax.

Fuck off man you have nothing to do with the romans. Not every westerner is a roman
So long as politics remain we will only progress at a snails pace.
KeV B at the end, after 200 ad ( need to look for better date ) roman empire was lead by illyryan people. Ancient roman blood was very rare.
Magnificent! Cannot wait to let my students walk through Ancient Rome!
Thanks a lot! The next update will be soon!
This is AMAZING! Incredible work. Can you make one for Baalbek and Persepolis?
I seriously, am living in the wrong generation. Bring me back to Ancient Rome!
Good luck. I heard it really stinks and the buildings arent at all that shiny as in this cgi video.

Although Roman Empire existed centuries ago, it looked more civilized than some modern countries in Africa. Amazing.
Still better than a lot of cities in Europe

о, боги, какая шикарная реконструкция.. как жаль, что этого всего уже нет
Beautiful work
Exceptional detail. Wish it all could have survived somehow.
Excellent work. I can't wait to see all of the finishing touches. What game engine will you export to so we can make preparations on our end?
+Divus Magister Craft thanks! I'll give the information about it soon!

great job, and details seem correct, also the tree in the roman forum.. but Caesar's forum doesn't have Caesar's statue wth horse?

Any idea if this would be close to 425 ad as well? Writing a book in that period.

if only we could have a game where you build a city such as this, and then can play within the city as an open world.
Is this the one developed by the University of Virginia? I hope it is available to download one day in the future.
no, it's completely other project, nothing common with Rome Reborn. The 3D walkthrough for the Rome center will be released in a year approximately
I hope the next Assassins Creed game takes us to Rome, sure we had Rome before in AC:Brotherhood but I want to see and explore Rome in it's glory days.
You will.
Nice place history
I think this helps us understand why it was called the eternal city.
Wish I could get a video like that made, of a balsa/basswood "modern" Greek/Roman model home I created "years ago".
with the technology that they have back then, i keep wondering how did they build all these buildings
All their magnificence and glory, and then they fell
Good! Imagination or real?
Amazing
This is great.
Where can I buy the complete work, please?
It will be avaiable when we'll release the application based on a game edition
Awesome.
