I owe a great deal of thanks to you and Jason Corey. A few years ago when I was researching breeds to be my next service dog I had it narrowed down to the Standard Schnauzer, German Pinscher, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. But after a lot of soul searching and talking with a couple of breeders about their dogs, I decided I’m not the right kind of person for a dog of that level yet. Instead I got a softer Moyen Poodle. She’s almost three now, and not only is this dog absolutely perfect for me, but she’s an amazing service dog for my PTSD. There’s no doubt that this dog saved my life as back in December I had a horrible night and almost took my own life. She was there for me the way no person ever has been. She laid on my chest for hours, licking away my tears, and didn’t get up until I was completely calm. So thank you for helping me find the perfect dog❤️
Our 7.5 week old lab comes tomorrow! I’ve been binge watching training videos and ideas for weeks. Hes got everything all set and waiting for his arrival!
Getting a Cavalier King Charles in the next week. I hope I'm prepared. It's very hot here on Vancouver Island and I still need to get my air conditioner fitted.
Best wishes with beautiful Zelda. My girl was a handful as a teenager but has grown into a well behaved loving adult . I had to level up, and it's really worked out well.
Definitely going to need some videos of what to do on day one and what’s best for obedient( I will be getting a euro Doberman in the end of October and am really excited and trying to learn as much as I can till the day arrives
Would be awesome to have links to some of the recommended product. 😊 The leash and collar is particularly cute. Will you be doing more videos of Zelda?
I just got my rottie at 7w 5d. He’s now 10weeks. He’s a new species of 4 legged piranha. My kennel is too large for him now BUT it worked out to my advantage. See, I live in Texas and it’s hot. Even with AC he didn’t like sleeping in his bed, he liked it but wouldn’t sleep in it. He would prefer to sprawl on the available floor next to it as well as his water bowl. Since he did that he didn’t wanna go anywhere in his kennel. I have had 4 accident total, one of which were first day because we were both napping and he snuck in a poop (only one so far). Second was my bad timing after getting back home and giving him his flea pill, he was excited and went and peed. One was at my dad’s house cuz he didn’t like outside and last was in the morning where I had to pee too but he said he had to go first (he was determined to follow me into the bathroom lol)
I love the Mastiffs, too, but know I couldn't cope with the slobber. At some point after getting an inheritance I'll be looking to get a Broholmer from the EU (they're not bred in the UK, sadly) ... not having such pendulous lips they are 'slobber lite'. They literally are the breed that ticks all my boxes. They are also easier to train than most (all?) Mastiff breeds, being less independent and less guardy (though still a bit of both). My dog experience up till now has been Labrador x NZ Huntaway and a rescued Griffon/Poodle/GSD/Brittany mix. A Broholmer will be a pretty exciting change in comparison, so I'll be glued to your videos in advance and during :)
Hi Will, we are planing to bring a Dog into our life and want to give him the best preperations possible. Is there an average span of time (like 6 months, a year etc.) to spend at home with the puppy befor going back to our regular Jobs and leave him alone longer?
We just got a 6 month old puppy and she just seems to fight all of the training attempts. Especially potty training! She loves to go outside but won't go potty until a few minutes after we come back in. It's so frustrating!! I have to clean her crate daily.
He lives in the middle of nowhere, that is pretty obvious on the video. I also live out in the country and have taken every new pup I brought home out around the property, the infection risk in these conditions is not zero, but damn close to it.
I am so happy to see you smiling with little Zelda in your arms after the heartbreak of little Maybel. Thank you for sharing your joy with us. ❤🐾
@@MaineGirlOutdoors it's not his dog

What an amazing dog that knew you needed to be comforted. I am so glad that you chose her to be your friend and companion. Take care and be well.
So happy to see you ready for another Corso puppy. Looking forward to watching little Zelda grow up.
Perfect timing.
My mum brought an 8wk old puppy home on Friday.
And be good to follow your advice. Will share this with her

I love you for that . I’m helping people to think first the need off the breed. It is not easy.
Congratulations! I love your attachment to Mastiff breeds
As someone who's running on 2 hours sleep after bringing home an 8 week old miniature dachshund puppy - I thank you for your service!

Awesome content, fun to watch, but you gotta dial back on the "the reality is". i think there were like 6 or 7 in the first 3:30 :D :D
Speaking of puppy, will you have more harnesses in stock soon?
Hi Zelda
How do I make an appointment for my dog for a day's intensive training?
What's her name? She's so cute ❤
Like me I thought you getting a German Shepard. Mastiff all the way. I’m still debating for the future Neo or 2 labs
How is Zelda doing. Will there be any more Zelda videos ?
She’s absolutely stunning ♥️
I am smitten with bull breeds.

Is zelda from hip and elbows scored parents and are they drsa tested?
If the owner's a friend of Wills, I can't imagine she's otherwise.
Clever baby 76
What about parvovirus when taking the puppy outside so young? without the parvovirus vaccine?
This is what I wanted to know too tbh.
They're out in the middle of nowhere ... it's highly unlikely an unvaccinated dog has been in the vicinity.
@@sairhug Unfortunately the virus itself it’s also carried by birds

@@n00bZ0rN1 Not canine parvovirus, though.
Get that puppy on the B.A.R.F. diet. Research it and you'll be very happy
