The clear breakdown of larynx positioning for different singing styles is super helpful! It's amazing how much control and freedom this can add to vocal range.

This is a great explanation! For some reason, I have not heard teachers talk of larynx position as stylistic - its always - "lower the larnyx" more for vocal freedom - which is great- but it seems to me, when singing rock with a tenor voice (like I have)- relaxing the larynx may not necessarily mean "lowering" it. Correct?
Hello Kurt i have a quick question about creaky door , I've watched almost every video I can find on this and i feel like I'm on the right track to getting into Flagolet, or at least a high as I can go in head voice, I've even tried fry and using fry to go as high as I can, do I need to find my head voice break and is that where my Flagolet will be? Sorry if I'm not understanding the terminology 😅

That's right! Most rock and pop singing is sung with a neutral to high larynx position.
