I'm loving these artist videos. Such insight and such a gift for all of us. Such a contrast to certain other artists who choose to block reaction videos rather than embrace what is such a wonderful way to introducing a new audience to their music.

Disco Inferno was likely the biggest hit for my Class of 79! At my senior homecoming, our band played a great version and as a majorette, we twirled fire batons that night for a spectacular homecoming halftime! I still know the routine !

One of my absolute favorite songs to dance to when I was younger. Boogie Woogie in my living room. Can't believe you have Earl on the show. My sister and her now husband won a disco competition dancing to this very song back in the day. Huge smile on my face. So happy the two of you are giving a present day platform for these great performers to share the fabulous history of their artistry. Keep it up. Canadian Grandma Lori. C.

This is Rob Squad learning the true meaning of "fair use." So many "reaction" channels get canceled because they exploit fair use, which was created for news organizations to showcase parts of work while reporting on it. Guests show up on Late-Night shows and have no problem showing movie clips for free to promote themselves or the product, the movie.
But too many reaction channels merely play copyrighted material and make money off of it through ads and patreons without promoting their creators or providing in-depth news value. That's when artists, who may be retired, haven't had a hit in 40 years and see young people making money off of work they created without offering compensation or promotion.
The more Rob and Amber improve their interviewing (and research) skills, the better they will get. They will probably get permission to play some music and avoid having their channel shut down.

Saturday Night Fever came out when I was 15 in 1977. I was too young to go to a disco but the next year I went to Spain with my high school Summer School Abroad program. We spent four of our five weeks in Salamanca. Back then movies weren’t released simultaneously worldwide so hit Spain a year after the US release. There was a disco within walking distance of our dorm and no drinking age in Spain. We went to the disco a couple of times a week. 46 years later and it feels like yesterday. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

For bass lovers, listen to Ronnie Baker behind Wilson Pickett on "Engine No. 9", behind Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes on "Bad Luck" or behind Double Exposure on "Every Man."
There are hundreds and hundreds more tracks, of course, but those 3 are great examples.
