You look awesome for that age.. Anyways.. I am here to say that people can turn out to be very hurtful.. I am with the man who cheated on me on the ship. Then later on he got hooked to cheating and now he is very proud to say that he will keep doing.. Doesn't care at all.. I know it's difficult to be without a person with whom you have spent your young days.. Dedicated alf of your life and then suddenly trust being broken.. You are lucky to have supportive mother and friend in your daughter... Here I have no one.. My mother is very old and she needs my support.... Hopefully I will start something of my own.. But I am still with this shitty man.. Because in my country.. People don't respect divorcee... Gathering courage to stand up for myself.. Just pray that my work should speak for me.. Ans I end up with good income to support me.

Seems like a age prone to midlife crisis and men are looking for a love they themselves cannot define. I've been divorced 12 years and not wanting to date while raising my kids. I accidentally stumbled across your channel, and it caught my eye, because over the last couple of years, my husband of 23 years and I have been having lots of marital problems. My only son took his own life (my husband was his stepfather) and as you can imagine, it decimated our entire family...all of us are changed as a result of this horrific tragedy, whether we wish to be or not. Our marriage has never been the same, so I'm also struggling with the fear of more major loss if we don't make it. He won't go to counseling with me. I have done some on my own, but without much result. And my beautiful mom died 2 months ago.
But something in your face and manner was so calm and soothing. As I listened to you tell your story, the grace and class in the way you speak, and share with your viewers made me feel as though that is how I'D like to be, even if for now everything seems so filled with grief, uncertainty, and anxiety. So I subscribed to your channel.
I look forward to your next video. My heart is with you, woman to woman, in what you're going through.
The world seems as if it is just too hard to live in sometimes.
    Warmly, Lin in Montana

Your old video discarded after 25 years showed up as recommended today so I watched it. Mostly because I wanted a woman's perspective. My wife threw me under the bus 4 years ago this coming March. It did indeed turn out to be the best thing that could have happened. My story is a bit different as we had kids late so I have a 10 yo & a 16 yo. Both have horrible trouble with their mother. You are absolutely correct when you say there is no justice. I notice when I watch a woman describing her story most commenters are women & when men tell their story most commenters are men. I suppose that's natural as we listen to whom we can relate to but it makes me wonder if there are any sane people left & if so where are they? Glad your getting back in touch with yourself 🍻 here's to your continued success.

    • @FreedomofSpeech865

Rick, your comment hurt like hell. I connect to women because when we speak, it is like it happened to us and vice versa. I realised that over the years when a friend of mine broke up with his gf. He just couldn't understand how cruel we (women) can be and for the first time in my life, I heard a male perspective of a break up. Up until then, I thought men walked away unharmed. Your justice will come when your children see you for who you are. The reality is that there are so many good people but meeting them is like getting pregnant. You need the perfect time, place, condition, air, mood, etc. With all the people in the world, you wouldn't think that they only had a small window of time say, less then a few days to come into this world. Be patient, justice will be served.

I’m 49 and single after 17 years and I’ve stayed alone for 4 years now thinking that I should spend my time solely with my two sons who are 11&15 years old and seeing how she only lets me have every other weekend during the school year and 50/50 during the summer, which is nice. I just think I shouldn’t spend my attention on someone else when these kids grow up so fast today and I want every second I can have with them to not be trying to have another relationship getting in the way of that, hopefully that makes sense, I’m not sure how else to word it I guess! But anyway as time goes on here during the time that they aren’t around it’s getting harder and harder to be alone which didn’t really bother me for a long time, but it is now & I suppose it doesn’t help that I’m retired now so I don’t have the normal relationships from work to help keep my mind busy either and most of my friends are still working so it gets pretty boring to do things alone all of the time so I find myself getting a rut! Covid-19 doesn’t help matters either but I do try to get out and do some things but I’ve always liked being around people and it just seems harder now. Enough rambling! Anyway you sure look great for our age🤣👍 much better than I’ve weathered!!🤣🤣take care 😁

Hopefully you will never have to use it, consider it an emergency fund for whatever life puts at you (insurance that you can put your hands on... just keep it in a fireproof container somewhere very safe from others finding it). You give me hope for women like myself who are starting over in our late forties. I was never married and no kids but I was in a long term on again off again relationship for most of my twenties and all of my thirties that ended in heartbreak and rejection from them and a few others after that ended in rejection from them. I have had a lot of rejection from a lot of people in my life since I was a kid even in my family. Please keep making videos and updates on how you heal and grow from this. I’m still hoping for marriage at 47

Oh boy... listening to your story is just like my story... 25 years of marriage. He's an executive at the company (started he was nobody I found him that job) now. I am starting my life over at 47. I got a job as PCA 12 hour shifts after I didn't work for a long time. I worked but my income was never enough for him.One good thing about my job that I do have health/dental insurance for myself and my son (who's at college). Women always must think about themselves! Unfortunately I learned that at the age of 45 when a chain of events unfolded before my eyes and he treated me like an old/discarded dog. I felt used/abused. He sits in office, drives a luxury car, an executive and I clean patients and I am 47 years old... one good thing for me is that I went back to school to get my diploma and advance my career in medical field..... Good luck to you!

I was hoping that you would upload an update soon and here it is! I have to comment before even watching because I need to say this: Your video where you told your story popped up in my recommended this week and my heart just ached listening to you. I have dealt with pain, abuse, and heartbreak on many levels and revcovering from something like that is not easy at all even once you are no longer in the situation. I cannot imagine going through all that you have had to go through. I wish you the best in your journey of healing and starting over. I know great things are in your future, stay strong love. Sending hugs, 2021 is your year :)
Edit: Just finished watching. I'm so sorry about your business and how you gave up what you love to support him only to have him steal your idea later. The fact that you are even able to wish him well and compliment his artistic abilities and not be nasty towards him in return is just a testament to your wonderful character and genuine spirit. I'm so happy you were able to find a full-time job and I know God will continue to bless and protect you.
