- Hello.
This week I'm making a Spinner car from the movie Blade Runner using some old toy cars and model kits.
As always, no harm came to any of the plastic used in this video and went on to live a new life once repurposed.

C-Beams - Outstanding! Absolutely captured the feel of Blade Runner with this.
Thank you I appreciate that
Great build Aaron. Excellent use of C-Beams. I see this as a cyberpunk food truck delivering hot tasty chow to the wastelands. I'm glad you didn't cut your fingers off too. Peace!
Yeah it could be anything really. Thanks for stopping by
C - Beans... Ticky tick home again.. nice one mate great movie and build
Thank you and thanks for dropping by. I appreciate it
This is a wonderful piece of work. The car lights look especially pretty.
Thank you very much. Those lights cost me a sleepless night with them breaking
Cool little build, Aaron! Totally fits into the "Blade Runner" universe. Sorta reminds me of a hatchback or "smart car" version due to the proportions.
C-beams, Tannhauser gate and all that. This was awesome Aaron!! I loved the movies (as well as the books) and this build really fits the aesthetic.
I know that some of those electronics on certain toys sure can be fiddly. So bonus points for keeping the lights working. 👍👍
Thank you. Yeah, the wires were so thin at one point I'd split all 6 wires and lengthed them only for them to break at the switch or battery pack. I'm glad I stuck with it though. I appreciate your support
C-Beams. It's like an SD version of a spinner car but I like it, big chonky police van spinner. For better control I recommend getting a jewellers saw, as much as I love my hobby saw for bigger cuts (usually for destroying perfectly good Nerf blasters to turn them into spaceships) I find a jewellers saw is great for the small stuff 🙂 But all these things will be lost in time, like tears in rain,,,,,,,
I never thought of getting one of them. I'm on Amazon right now. Thanks for the tip and watching
C-beams, another great build ! love the end result .
Thank you so much I appreciate that
And I loved the paint job too
Quick and simple like myself 😂🤣
A, B... D-beams. Looking good! Very well done on the re wiring too
Damn it. Just once, just once get it right 😂🤣😂thanks dude
@@TerrainbyAaron at least you know I ain't skipping! Plus I've done it right once in the past !
@morriganscreations that is true😂🤣
Missed this earlier, I was busy oiling the hinges on the Tannhauser Gate. Nice work Aaron!
Oohhh I like that. Very good. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the end credit title yet. Which was the name of the original book
@@TerrainbyAaronElectric Sheep 😂
Yeah...I would have watched too, but I saw a turtle on its back and couldn't decide if I should help it or not.
"It is not easy to meet your Creator.“ Deckard! ähm …Aaron…i love this Film 👍🏼 and your building of course👌
Thank you. I appreciate you stopping by
I think you nailed the C-Beams on this one. and WOW! You rewired the flashy light thingy watcha macall it! Well done! I think the choice of base model on this one made the build. Good spot sir
Thank you very much. I was going to ask for advice with the thin, nasty breaking wires but pulled my big boy pants up and did it eventually after realising I did have a soldering iron😂🤣
C-beams…. Really cool build!!!! 😊😊😊
Thank you for that.
@@TerrainbyAaron you are welcome
great build sir!
Thank you so much
I'm glad you like it
C- beans that is fantastic, I wasn't sure at first but it's a really nice model
I never sure of any build🤣😂
@TerrainbyAaron I'm a massive fan of the blade runner films and the books have been since I was a teenager. and this model of yours fits in that universe, so well done man.
@robertnorton8519 thank you so much. I really appreciate that.
Dig the color scheme and design choices. TBO it could do with a chop and channel on the cab to make it a bit meaner. but meh.. it's just a personal preference.
A chop and channel. I was considering altering it but didn't want it to become a month long build that I get frustrated with and throw away. Quick and easy was the game plan.
The toys you used are from a range of toys called manta force from the late 80s. They still go for quite a bit on ebay etc.
Bloody hell really? So I've cut up a fortune that's what your telling me🤣😂. Sorry. Thanks for letting me know
C-beans. Awesome build, but why didn't you stencil in police in English and Japanese?
Too be honest, I could not find my stencil kit to do that. Tried free hand and it was terrible so just went with numbers. I going to make a different vehicle soon and will incorporate all the things I missed in that one.
@@TerrainbyAaron cricut or similar is amazing for making those types of stencil.
C-Beams......been a minute since i commented,hope all is well
All is well and I hope your well too. Thank you for stopping by
