I've just played Gris last week and it was an amazing experience, so I'll get this soon, looks perfect for the OLED (plus headphones, of course). Great review ❤
Gris is my favorite game. Neva is just as good. Seriously, please play this game. If you're worried about frame rate, then other hardware runs it well. I played this game on Steam Deck and got a steady 60fps.
I just 100% completed Neva last night and can say it's absolutely worth it. Such a beautiful and emotional game. Had a few tough platforming segments too.
I only really had two complaints about the game. Firstly, I found it really hard to tell what was a secret and what was progression, so I'd go toward a secret area but accidentally progress in the game, locking me out. And I also thought the ending wasn't great. It felt kinda cheap tbh. But holy shit this game is phenomenal. 9.5/10 it's genuinely so good
Games like this that take under 10 hours to beat are amazing pallet cleansers between very large RPGs that require about 100 hours each 😅 I'll definitely be picking this up.
I'm sensitive to frame drops (get dizzy with them) and I truly appreciate it when there's warning about it and footage - so thanks a lot! Although I will def play this game, it will be on my pc instead.
I’m so excited for this. Gris was a beautiful game and an amazing memory for me. It was a single Saturday afternoon just my daughter and I enjoying a wonderful game.
I don’t even know why I picked up this game since I don’t like platformers, but I’m glad I did! The visuals are just so good, and no frame drops in my first (and only) run. I got it on sale, but would absolutely recommend paying full price for it
I loved Gris. So when i heard about this it caught my eye. Will probably check the eshop in a bit to see how much it is. Hopefully its on black friday sale 😅😅
Nomada Studio deserves more recognition and more support from the gaming community. They can make artful and masterful platfromers on a limited budget ,and this in itself is pure brilliance.
This game is an amazing work of art and story you get to play through. Definitely worth it. And for those on the fence, it'll eventually go on sale and then you have no excuses. Truthfully, I'm happy spending $20 for this.
Gris was hypnotic and therapeutic, what an amazing experience. I'll buy the physical version of Neva asap. Every scene looks like a poster I would love to frame and put on the wall as a piece of art ❤
I love how the art is designed to be fleeting. You’re supposed to run quickly through the environments and see the art scroll by… but I can’t help but stop and stare
When I saw Neva's first anncounced reveal, but defienitily after Nintendo Partner Showcase & Indie World Directs in august where was Neva I've been REALLY EXCITED for this game because this have so BEAUTIFUL 2D art style, music sounds AMAZING, the story about of the Greece mythology looks INTERESTING and the Wolf with horns Neva itself looks so CUTE I believe this game's experience is the BEST on Nintendo Switch and my SCORE would be a 9/10 AMAZING game only to watch how it looks LOVE Neva! 🌠🌌🌑🌲❄️🌄🐺❤
I found Gris to be boring and unchallenging. I dropped it about only 1 hour in and never picked it up again. Is Neva more robust and deep in the gameplay?
Omg this is so sad to me! Gris is probably my favorite game ever and I love reploaying it. I do think it gets a bit more challenging as you progress so give it another shot. It is mostly a puzzle game. I actually didnt like Neva as much. But I also dont care for fighting games. Theres more sections that you need to rush and fight larger enemies and not much puzzles.
When I got GRIS almost day one I was like "yeah, I'm supporting indie developers" then after a month they had it on sale almost for free, and nowadays that game is almost given for free on sale. So, I'm gonna play something else and maybe one day I'll get this new game on discount
I was really disappointed with neva. Basically bored by it. It has the emotional depth of a puddle. It's just pretty. Gris was art, Neva just contains art and it's not even half the experience.
Nintendo life is a review site and channel. All of their reviews are published as videos and articles, sometimes adapted from video to Article, sometimes article to video. Some people don’t read much, and other don’t watch TH-cam much, so more people read their reviews and NL makes more money if they do both.
Please play this f*cking game. Worth it for the ending alone

I guess we’ll Neva know until we try it.
, I Neva thought about that.
OUT OUT OUT!
Badumm chhh
Oh ho!!!! I see what you did there!
i hope the next time you wash your hands with long sleeves water gets on your sleeve

When I first saw this, the thumbnail hadn’t loaded so I thought Neva was the name of the new Switch
You neva saw it coming
Neva means "snowing" in Catalan.

It was a great journey but I agree the ending was actually the weakest point.

Playing through now and enjoying it. I do hope their next game evolves a bit further gameplay wise but gosh the visuals are so good.
I beat it last night. I would recommend it on switch. Very pretty and fun game

Hi !!! 😊 What version do you recommend ??? nintendo switch or xbox series x

Is it worth playing this on Switch or PS5? Anyone know the diff?
My whole family played and loved Gris. I've been so looking forward to Neva since their announcement.
You missed the opportunity to say, "If you've neva heard of Neva..."
Another cool game developed in Spain!

A freaking masterpiece. GRIS was excellent, but this is somehow even better.

What Greek Mythology?
@@Big_Bad_Gammon okay Greece
Length is not so bad, considering gris was shorter about 3-4 hours
Im not great at platforming at all and was sometimes struggling with Gris. Would you say this is much harder than Gris om the platforming? Anyone?
wingus begins at 7:50, in case you wanna skip the jam sesh at the start
Is there a physical release?
I want to know too. I would love an art book with this game
Totally worth it as a nature and puzzle platformer fan and painter I can’t get enough of this stuff
This game looks better than any AAA release this gen
"sure to have you reaching for that capture button" i have not once touched that thing, ever.
What? Is your switch gallery a complete empty void or something? Lol
Wtf. I have captured like 100 screenshots from this 3hour game lol
I played this game for 2 hour. Definitely worth it

They should make DLC to this game
Whilst I love and dig the artistic experience with some battle mechanics in video games, I need usually more than that.
Neva gonna give you up
The wolf dies, doesn't it? That's the whole point of adding pets to "emotional videogames". Even Yoshi fell into that pit too many times
Super!

ITS HILDA AND TWIG
It's not worth it at full price.
NAY-va

Looks boring
What's the point of reading someone else's review? LMAO.
What’s the point of being a troll?
@@Uwannago89 being honest. Not a troll.
