I adore her blatant honesty and the beauty of her raw talent and giving a lot of herself away through her music. It's hard to come across artist like Jenny Lewis and her storytelling as well as wide array of music from the abyss to sunshine. keep it in your mind and feel it in your heart. NPR tinydesk concerts have some of my favorite musicians' with all the quirks, unexpectedness, makes it such a memorable experience.
I love Jenny so much. “Acid Tongue” is one of my favorite songs. I finally saw her in September at Ohana Fest, dressed like Elton John in a pink jumpsuit and giant sunglasses. It was magical.
Saw her live in Petaluma CA and she was one of the best live performers I’ve ever seen. She was jumping around and dancing on the amps. Incredible energy and just pure raw talent!

Jenny is one of my favorite women singers. I grew up in the Valley too. Even though I am a bit older her influences were the same music I enjoyed. She writes her own material which is rare because she is very talented.

Been a fan of Jenny's since the Rilo Kiley days. Love her work. I usually watch these videos on my Roku TH-cam app, so I don't get the annoying pop-up ads that start playing during the songs. Should be a better way of timing those out, or is it just TH-cams algorithm that launches them.

It's very hard to sing and play an instrument at the same time as well as doing this in harmony with others. My comment however was on the "song line up". Meaning that I do not prefer these songs lined up next to each other. It had nothing do with the talent of the artists featured in this video. 🙃

I hadn't come across Jenny Lewis before this NPR performance. I'm Impressed by the songs and taken by her personality. She's kind of like Captain Janeway's musical alter ego. She even has the stars from the Delta Quadrant printed on her dress!

Jenny Lewis is underrated, I think her voice is amazing and the songs she write are great too.
