Rule was not to get out of the boat. Which technically means you can't touch the ground. Just like the 'knock over all the ducks without leaving the mat' task, and even though they still touched the mat, they were DQd when a single foot hit the ground.
@@mini696 no, you could definitely use your hands or feet to propel yourself and not be considered "out of the boat". it's not a rollercoaster where you must keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times
@@mini696 Touching the ground wasn't against the rules. Think of it as if they were on an actual lake, where they could paddle by any means but couldn't get out and swim.
@@bugbear2357 Yes but if, during the task, you're thinking "I am being a person being in a boat" you could easily automatically go with '....and so I will use the paddles'

The task on the train tracks looks like so much fun! Can totally understand why Sian wanted to go on even though she already lost.

Thanks for showing us who won the pedometer task. It is often said in the comments that you don't show us who won so appreciate you listening and doing this.
The train station, red light green light, task is one of my favorite tasks of the entire show. That and the one they are locked in a squash court and have to figure out how to score points.
The squash court is such a classic, and the NZ take on it was great too
The Alex on the bridge task is what got me hooked on this show.

Johnny Vegas trying to move on that boat is a brilliant piece of physical comedy.
Johnny on the boat is one of my favorite moments of the entire show. I don't know why Season 10 get so much criticism. It's an absolute disaster, and that's why it's so amazing!
I mean, it definitely feels somewhat off compared to the other series, especially the studio segments, but we have to remember that it was the first series filmed after Covid, with much of the filming taking place during the early days when restrictions were severe and confusing. I don't think having to have crew and cast physically seperated really helps, either. Considering all that, they did quite well in my opinion; could have been a lot worse.
I totally agree I loved that season, the studio stuff for me was even better cus it felt more intimate without the audience, I don’t get the criticism either
People tend to view anything hampered by Covid in a negative light whether it deserves it or not unfortunately.
Part of it is no live studio audience, the fact there were so many oddball contestants, and for me personally Catherine Parkinson was just such a rubbish contestant. She had a few moments but was otherwise just uninteresting and unfunny as a contestant. That being said I do like her other work as an actress, I just don't think this was the kind of show that suited her best.
Daisy is comfortably the worst contestant of all time IMO, but I think the biggest issue with the series is the tasks, a lot of them were excessively complicated and felt like Greg was overcorrecting for not being strict enough on the rules in previous series, plus it also features one of the most awkward moments in the show when Katherine gets upset that Greg lambasted her masks.
But it's often said that even the worst series of Taskmaster are better than most TV, and it's true. (Also I think series 8 is the worst one)
Still got nervous watching Joe hiding from Alex
When I was a kid, I desperately wanted to essentially be Joe in the train yard task.
Everyone has said it, but that task was simply the best.
Fun fact: Taskmaster UK is its final few days of celebrating its 10,000th point awarded.

It's a shame this show hasn't caught on in the US, it feels like every country could host this format if they really wanted.
I watched every episode of every season but for some reason when I watch these comps I feel like I never saw the tasks.
The hide and seek game at 8:45 was the first time I saw the TM. I automatically fell in love with the show! :D
It's a good thing Daisy wasn't as heavily pregnant during the filming of the boat and exercise ball task as she was during the stage shows! 😮

For the basket task, the rules didnt say you cant hold the basket (either holding the bike by extension or just ripping it off and holding it)

I’m younger than most of the contestants, but I think I would so just as badly on the arduous tasks. Actually I think I’d give up on the raft one tbh
I never get, why they all go for the biggest ducks. If they started with the smallest duck, they could fit so many more ducks in the basket.
Maybe hope to slow Alex down with weight? But the ducks aren’t heavy so doesn’t make much sense.

The bridge hiding task was the first bit of Taskmaster I ever saw. Kept seeing the clip recommended to me and decided to finally watch it and so glad I did. The one task was enough to get me watching the whole show 😂

There is something about skipping the resolutions that is unsatisfying.
For the bike and ducks task, it didn't state anything about pushing the bike over and taking it away to the table. It should be easy fend off Alex ; he's weak.

Judi Love did that but she got disqualified anyway for carrying multiple ducks at once

Series 15 will have our 100th panelist, after returning contestants are included. It is (3 NYT + 14 seasons) 5 players = 85 panelist.
Add Alex & Josh for team tasks that were 3 on 3. Add in two that were sick. Makes 89 panelists. Add on 2 Grand Championships. Makes 99. Series 15 makes 100.

Johnny's feet were touching the ground when he was going across on his stomach.
The task didn't say they couldn't touch the ground. The point was to make it challenging for them.
There is no "technically" on taskmaster. All the information is on the task

If you can be sitting in a boat and dangling your arm(s) or leg(s) over the side then you can have your feet outside the dinghy in this task.
