In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Found new humour in the reaction of the cameraman after Rhod pulls off Alex’s “panties”, where it shows them walking into the house 😂

Rhod just goes all out to embarrass everyone on the show (mostly Alex and his friend Greg). I don’t think he cares about the points, he plays it for the comedic value. I hope he gets well soon.

I love how when Alex walks away without his panties you can see the camera crew behind just losing it
I mean they're really not, one is just holding the camera, one is looking at the camera feed, and one seems to be slightly giggling.
You must be watching a different clip to the rest of us, as that definitely doesn't happen in this video.

Track suit is such an underrated task. One of my all-time favorites.
Alex gets his arse out two episodes in a row; S6 Finale and Ep 1 of S7, and then again for the "water feature" at the grotto. I often forget that he created the show.
This show saved me during the pandemic. My son had found it on YT and he was yelling from his room, so I went in to see what he was doing. It was the 'hiding eggplants' episode. I was hooked.
I discovered it when my husband and I had covid. In two weeks we had completely caught up and have been watching ever since :) It was a fun bit of sunshine in a rough time 😊😊

How is Rhod now? Media have been quiet - hoping for his full recovery.
Burnt bread = burnt toast. Burning it = toasting it too much. It’s impossible for a slice of bread to be burnt without having passed through a toast stage.
Unless, of course, burnt bread is a bread loaf that got burnt while being baked the first time.
@@beth12svist I don’t think it being the first time is really the key point but when posting I did have in mind the fact that an unsliced loaf getting burnt is never toast. However, that’s a rare enough exception that I think they’re close enough to synonyms, closer than many accepted answers. All burnt toast is burnt bread even if occasional burnt non-toast is also burnt bread.
@@icturner23 It is the key point absolutely; but I think the difference may, rather, be in your definition of bread than in your definition of toast. I'm Czech and our wheat-rye proper loaf bread is far more often eaten untoasted than toasted. :-)
@@icturner23 Aaand I forgot to include the fact it's the sort of bread you bake in a reeeeaaallyyyy hot oven, so it getting burnt the first time around is actually relatively likely. :-)
@@beth12svist You’re completely missing the point. It’s irrelevant what proportion of bread is toasted. Most bread isn’t toasted in most countries. If bread is sliced and burnt, it’s burnt toast. The burning protest by definition will have toasted it first.

By definition, toast is bread that is partway toward burnt. So burnt bread and burnt toast ate literally exact synonyms. That answer should have been full credit not half credit.
Bread gets baked before it gets sliced into slices that get eaten. Things can get burnt while baking in an oven.
@@beth12svist I would call that burnt dough not burnt bread. Once you use the moniker "bread" you are talking about after the step in the oven is done. Besides a toaster *is* an oven. Just a very small one with the heating element placed really close to the bread. Essentially toast is bread being baked a little further. The only difference is that because the bread is sliced you are exposing the inside part that normally would be deep inside the if it was still a whole loaf. You're basically turning the whole flat surface of the slice into crust by baking it.
@@dunbar9finger As a person who bakes? I would _never_ say "burnt dough", unless, maybe, I managed the crazy feat of burning it on one side while it still remained largely raw on the other.

I think part of the reason Ian was offered a glass of water was to wash down the taste of all the chips he had licked and tasted previously. I can imagine the mix did not help the taste one bit.
