Yes please, I would like to know how to make the buns. Your burgers look great. PS: bonus if I can make them in a cramped kitchen PPS: I saw a pizza vending machine last week but couldn't stop to try it.
The bun recipe is coming soon, I'm just not allowed burgers too often! They haven't returned the pizza machine so it looks like I'll have to pass on the "pizza baton", the people need to know!
They always go down well here. I am still working on the extra bits but the burger itself is how we like them. It's amazing how the cats can get comfortable almost anywhere, on of their favourite places to sleep is in the boxes of mulch. It must be great to be able to fall asleep like a cat!
The tiles should stand up to the weather without any issues but I'll monitor it and report any issues. We always enjoy the burgers, we just have to limit how often we have them.
My younger son has been here for a week he returns to the UK tomorrow so as he drives I've got shopping in. But I was telling him about the trouble you had getting Maxs residency card.
It was a long process mainly hindered by covid restrictions. I feel sorry for people trying to do this now, the additional steps and costs are a real barrier. Hope you enjoyed your son's visit.
Yes I had to waita month for my residency card, then when I took husband the lady held up thee fingers meaning if paid double which was about 8 lev he could collect it in three days jammy bas **rd
It's all coming on. What did you use to do the rendering Adam? The burgers/buns look really good - we love making buns/teacakes and kozunak. Agree, home made is soo much better.
I used MPI 25, it's a lime plaster material that is great on walls that need to breathe. The kitchen doesn't buy I'm used to it and had some here already. Once fully dry it is very durable. It's great having the time to be able to make stuff rather than buying it. We deliberately keep our schedule loose and relaxed so that we can choose when stuff gets done. That's why the renovations have taken so long! 🤣
@@ourlittlebulgarianadventure Thank you. And yes, can't wait to have more time for baking (and all the other little jobs that you find to do in Bulgaria) 🙂
@@ourlittlebulgarianadventureI can't remember if it was you or Ivan who used Ceresit 11 for rendering something. If it was you, would you say the MPI 25 is better than ceresit 11 for the outside kitchen or either could be used?
@@NewBulgarians That was Ivan but he does recommend tile adhesive as it is supposed to be harder wearing. I don't have enough experience to recommend one over the other.
The kitchen is looking good, and the burgers delicious 😄!
Thanks Simone. We are getting close to the fun bit of tinkering to make it work the way we need it to.
The burgers didn't last long but they never do!
