Hey Tim. I was wondering if you guys ever turn into another band or maybe was anything ever spawned from FR? I grew up in Atwater and hung out with the guys from Invective Writhe and Willow Wisp. Actually had my own band until I found out that naming it Auschwitz was probably a bad idea. Actually used to use the same practice spot occasionally until it all died. Bummer, I miss thrash.
hey there! the band broke up in 92. our drummer Scotty and other guitarist Matt went on in a band called Immortality. when they disbanded Scotty went into another local band called Infestation. years later i joined Cursed for a while. when i left the band Scotty came in and played drums for them. Fatal Rage started in 86. i joined soon after and played bass. we were hardcore/punk then. after a few months our singer Ian (who originally was our drummer) brought his brother Erick in to play bass and i moved over to guitar. i remember Willow Wisp and am facebook friends with Arik and Tony.
Honestly Fatal Rage was the top dog in the area when I was playing. I still have both of the demo tapes. Beyond that there was Willow Wisp which became Salems Lott in LA. I kept looking for everyone when I was writing for the Online Metal Magazine "Metal On Loud". I gave up on the scene because I had so many bands who had people who were useless. I still look at my Ibanez from time to time but never went back. Maybe some day. @@timemerich
