    Creating your own package, that meets your own requirements has become ever so easy to do now. You can literally sit down in front of a computer/mobile and get all sorts of prices for different dates of travel. Also now you have the ability to look closely at the hotel spec and reviews, and choose a flight to your liking. This cuts out the waiting period for a travel agent to 'get back' to you and the full price of a custom made umrah trip can be worked out - and booked - within hours.

    Ass sallarm o aĺaikum.
    I feel I must have a day and an input to the honesty and sincearty of brother akib who is in the video.
    I have known this humble brother for near on 18 years if not more, in my honest opinion if you are contemplating a visit to the harrams either hajj or umra my only recommendation is this brother, he is more than fair, he us honest, and most importantly he us a pious and sincere servant of AR RAHMAN. You will not be dissapointed with anything .
    May ALLAH reward him immensely and bless him with good here and in the akhira.
    By the way I've notvtravelled with this brother to the harrams yet but will do very soon insha ALLAH. This is just a character refrence on the brother.

      There is a possibility for you to get Umrah E-visa but you will have to go to the Saudi Consulate to get it. At the moment European and North American citizens can get it online.

      Applying for visa can only be done by an indian umrah company (unless you have stay permit in another country). For the NEW umrah season there will be some major changes by Saudi Ministry. These changes will affect the umrah travelling process. Best to wait and see what the new process will be. Keep in touch with a local travel agent to find out more.

      Currently you can apply for Tourist visas online if you are residing any European, North American and Australia/ New Zealand countries. The New Tourist Visas, currently, allows you to perform umrah.
      See this video for more on the new tourist visa:

      You can visit this website to book your own hotels, flights and ground transport. Also you can apply for either the umrah visa or the tourist visa:

      It's difficult to recommend a physical umrah agency, however you can go online and apply at www.goharamain.com.
      The saudi government have increased the visa fees from the previous years. So I would recommend you to travel on the Saudi tourist visa. Currently, you can perform umrah on the tourist visa.

    As-salamu Alaykum Brother. My family and I need help for Umrah. We've looked at travel plan's, we have been suggested the hotel called Dar Ul Eiman Grant hotel from Al Harram. However I'm not happy with this as I have a 4 year old son and 3 other kids. How would you suggest I approach entering Umrah from Birmingham?

    • @go_haramain6071
      @go_haramain6071  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wa alaykum asalam sister.
      Dar ul Eiman Grand is a nice clean hotel. It will take you, with the kids, approx 15 mins easily to walk to the gate of the masjid. This is the only downside with the hotel. Also there are many shops near the hotel you can go to for food. So if your children can walk 15-20 mins that this will be fine - but not during the summer, winter would be better. Otherwise you can choose other 4 star hotels that are closer. Checkout our website for hotels in Makkah and Madinah:
      www.goharamain.com
      Possible umrah routes:
      1. Direct to Jeddah: Only Saudi airlines or British Airways fly direct. Either from London or Manchester
      2. Indirect to Jeddah: You can catch Lufthansa or Turkish airlines from Birmingham, or Middle East airlines or Royal Jordanian airline from London.
      Return can be from Madinah or Jeddah. All of these combinations of hotels and flights can be found at our website, goharamain.com.
      Wasalam.

    Wa alaikum as Salam.
    Sorry since the new umrah fees I’m sorry I don’t beleive it’s worth it. The diy website is ok but the costs are ruined by the umrah visa fee.
    Secondly I absolutely detest the transport issue. Why can we not call a taxi like everyone used to do. I have nothing against the government: I will work within the limits set by them. But fact is that diy is not as good as it was 6 months ago

    • @go_haramain6071
      @go_haramain6071  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can understand your concerns, but there are solutions to your predicament. For the visa, apply for the new tourist visa. It costs around £110 AND you can perform umrah with it. For the transport issue, if you don't want to book on our website, you can download the Uber app or the Careem app. You can hail the taxi while you are in the airport. A bit more expensive, but very useful.

    The Muslim organisations/Masjids really need to step it up in the West - in particular in Toronto, Canada. I have contacted 5 different orgs/masjids asking to contact me regarding their umrah package in December that they've advertised and only one got back to me. So pathetic. Now I'm forced to try to figure this all out and I don't think I'll end up making Umrah even though I really want to go! What a pathetic state this Ummah is in.

    • @go_haramain6071
      @go_haramain6071  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have you thought about creating your own package?
      Ask an agent for the umrah visa and the rest you can simply book yourself.
      Saudi Arabia has announced the Tourist visa few months ago. On this tourist visa you can also perform umrah. See the article below:

      Check out our website for hotel and flight prices.

      asdf asdf the ummah is in a bad state because of the innovations and lack of jealousy for the sunnah.
      It’s not your masjids duty to take you to Makkah.
      A sign of the strength of the ummah is the number of people at fajar in the masjid. Ask yourself what you have done.

    • @uponsunnah6986
      @uponsunnah6986 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kaashee I'm talking about the lack of professionalism from our masjid/orgs. Look at all these other non Muslim orgs. They get back to you. They have great customer service. They *work*. Our orgs/masjids are only good for prayers? Is that what it has come down to? At the time of the prophet saws the masjid was more than just a place of prayer.

    • @kaashee
      @kaashee 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      asdf asdf
      Firstly; the masjid is primarily a place of prostration (hence the name “masjid- place of prostration”. Prayer. Any masjid that place anything else prior to that is questionable to say the least.
      Whatever comes after that is a positive.
      Secondly: it is a not for profit organisation, based on volunteers.
      Thirdly; we have little insight into the pressures going on at these places. Whether you want to go into the ins and outs of it we measure our religion according to the messenger of Allaah peace be upon him: was the masjid also a travel booking bureau/hajj agency? No. If it is then that’s a great thing.
      The masjids in the west have undergone a huge amount of abuse. I’m tired of people bashing the masjid.
      You are a part of your local masjid. If you aren’t happy, it shows that there is something wrong with the input you guys are having. But as I mentioned in my first post go to the masjid at fajar and see how strong your masjid is. Judge the masjid on its strength of worshippers at the time when the messenger of Allah pbuh said it was a sign of no hypocrisy. Our western masajids are rammed full of worshippers in ramadhan and empty at fajar all throughout the year.
      A masjid is as strong as it’s worshippers both in quality and then quantity.
      Having a travel bureau and hajj visa service is nothing when the prayer halls are clean, tidy but empty.

    • @kaashee
      @kaashee 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      asdf asdf the Muslim organisations in my city are spot on. Yes we have some immigrant mentality grab and go or fraud but this is dying out.
