    It seems there are no entry level jobs, I mostly see consultant/specialist/senior. Is volunteering experience essential and do one need a registration with a body in the UK?

      Volunteering would certainly be useful in my opinion. Also registering with a designated profession puts you at an advantage but this is not to say that one can't get a job without that particularly if this was not mentioned as part of the essential criteria. You may also watch my video on strategic volunteering, if that would help.

      @@BartholomewAngela-z7q thanks for getting in touch. Getting any type of job requires continuous search and application. You get some and get rejected in others. I will encourage you to keep searching, not too long you are likely to find one that is suitable for you.
