I watched a interview with Peter Jackson, after Christmas 2001, and when asked what the strangest thing to come out of the movie so far was, He said it was a " Swedish Metal band asking for permission to publish a song on LOTR" I had to find this song and found Sabaton in 2002 and have been a fan since.
No way? I've got to see that interview lol did he mention Sabaton by name? Imagine the amount of fans Sabaton gained from it! Not that they're lacking in fans ;D
The first Lord of the rings movie was released just before x-mas in 2001, so my guess is that Joakim had just seen the movie, time wise it fits I'd say 😉
Well to be fair... the Ringwraiths also ride black horses.... When they are chasing after Frodo in the beginning.... when - in the movie - Arwen carries him on a horse.... Man....... I wish they hadn't used Arwen there, it makes no sense... if she can be that bad-ass, why is she not there to help later= Nah, she is withering away in sorrow in her room...... while Elrond plans to depart Middle Earth... MEH...... But I get it.... one less character to introduce to the story... I like this song ^^ It is a proper story song!
I completely forgot about that part in the first movie, the water horses that Arwen summons 😍 one of the best bad ass scenes in the trilogy in my opinion, considering the technology for that time! I also played the video game and I would spam that exact water horse move because of how it looked xD
