International Inductee Colin Montgomerie, presented by George O'Grady (Chief Executive of the European Tour) at the 2013 World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
@@jamesw7373Colin won many of those in events where the world's ( not just European players) top ranked players were competing in the pga tour. He was a very good player with a big personality who might do the best of them all in reality golf t.v. shows. However , with zero majors , his legacy is one of a solidly good player but not a hall of Famer. In fact , when he had chances in majors he choked, much like Westwood. Colin was given that title for political and honorary reasons . If he were to be as brutally honest, as he is in the booth as a golf analyst, he would acknowledge that he does not belong in the world golf of fame purely on golfing merits . It is more apropos to put him in the European golf hall of fame only.
@@reimannx33 Eight Orders of Merit is not peanuts...his impact on global golf by pushing and leading the European Tour onwards is more than worthy of his induction
Hilarious delivery from George O'Grady.....reminiscent of The Fast Show's 'Jazz Club 🤣Nice!!
How well spoken , a credit to Scotland .
Legend!
Legend 🙏🙌❤️
When my coach wants me to swing "limp" 🙏❤️
if it wasnt for the golf Colin would definitly make a great actor as well
Always in with a sniff of a major was Monty....
Wonder if he crushed a bunch of banana custard before the induction.
Someone give this man a tissue. Stop sniffing
Pompous prat but Great Golfer!
Like most English (he's not really Scottish)
Wow he is a chip off the old block :-)
He did not win any regular tour major ...should not be in the hall of fame.
what a bitter life you must lead
@@flucazade Not bitter, but certainly better than your pathetic one.
30 wins is good enough imo..
