One of the BEST ski waxing instructional videos on YT. Really great tip for sharpening plastic scraper. Thank you!

This was the best video taught me how to wax my kids. Don’t waste your time searching others!

Only suggestion I would add, is to first rub the wax on with the wax block across the surface of the lenght/width of the ski, before dripping on. That helps cover all the surface of the ski before applying the iron to the ski base.

Another tip is to skip the scraping if you are storing them in the off season, it helps the edges stay nice

I wax in my garage but it can be pretty cold out there. I keep the skis warm until it's time to wax them. Does room temperature affect waxing? Thanks!

I bought a 6 ft restaurant “plate warmer“ overhead heater and put my skis under it in the garage. Then the bases are about 120° F even before I drop the wax on. I think it helps the pores absorb the wax.
It also makes it more comfortable to work in my cold garage.

Hey guys. Quick question... why didn’t you have bindings on your skis? Do you take bindings off often? Can you switch them between winter and spring setups every season?
