I honestly hope they make a continuation to what happened after 6 turned into the queen. This was my favorite campaign to play and I really hope they make another one.
Playing as the alien I legit had no fear of anything while playing bc I felt like the most fiercest creature but when I was playing as the marine I was more afraid of the alien than anything
Yes Xenomorph will make you run from their roar. This terrified through hell out of me playing as marine. Well playing as the predator doesn’t turn this fear being attacked by Xenomorph. Dude imagine if we saw xenomorph in real life like an actual life form. Just puts an nervousness heart attack enough to turn your back running position fast as possible. Makes more fear to us just similar to pit bull dog barking right at the target on you.
As someone who always enjoyed playing the Xenomorph the most by a large margin throughout the different games, this campaign was a bloody joke. It was a lot of fun, absolutely, but the fact that you could complete it in less than an hour on the harder difficulties was beyond pathetic. Nevertheless, good playthrough, thanks for uploading!
Question, how is this campaign easier than the predators? I’m still halfway through the jungle mission and can’t seem to stealthily kill someone without someone else seeing or having to cheat by getting spotted and having the marines come to a narrow walkway and slay them one by one, yet my only problem in the Xenomorph campaign is navigation.
@@kareemmasri3934 i did the xenomorph campaign for the first time im 1.5 hrs, its actually alot of thinking and planning i loved being stealthy seperatimg marines and killing them and running off and picking them off 1 by 1 utilise your exetreme mobility and stealth
They gave it literally no story outside of the first mission and the ending. Everything in between was just mindless killing and harvesting. In contrast to AVP2 the Alien campaign had a legitimate story.
I really enjoy how they decided to make a story for the Xeno, obviously they were gonna do all 3 but I like how they made 6 a smart xeno and not just some drone that attacks, she literally had objectives, was smart with her surroundings, all from birth she was always a step ahead

I remember playing the campaign w/o Xbox Live. Once I finally got live this was one of the first games I played. Unfortunately, it was severely underrated and not many people played it. I miss playing as a marine, albeit, extremely difficult against veteran Xenomorph and Predator players, but rewarding. Being able to block, probably the best mechanic in a FPS, the lunging attacks and absolutely wreck a Predator or Xeno was so gratifying. I hope they make a remaster/remake, this game was far ahead of it's time and didn't receive the recognition it deserves.
#6 was a smart girl crawling back inside her host's chest. And this still has incredible graphics for a game released in 2009. First game I ever owned on PS3
You know, Six’s story definitely makes me feel a bit of sympathy for the Xenomorphs. Everywhere but on their home planet, they are hunted and detained for testing. Wetland-Yutani is definitely a fine example of how we humans are willing to destroy each other in the name of progress. Also, freaking love the part at 43:30 with the dude not reacting to his buddy being facehugged right next to him.

And what’s a bit sadder is in cannon, the xenomorphs actually don’t have a home planet. They were the result of an apex alien race and an Android with a God-complex.
Though you can't truly feel bad for them as they're mindless killing machines that only obey the Queen. Though the clones on the other hand... Considering they don't truly have a queen, you could command it. Have an entire army of xenos.

@@inight4627 no predtorians are keepers with the hive when the hive is running low on worker drones, the predtorians when they grow start producing a chemical that the youja produce when they have grown up, the xenomorphs see this as a youja more than a xeno, then the predtorian is forced out of the hive unless the queen let's it stay.
The funny thing is that the first time I played this game, I played the Marine campaign first then as the Predator and when I finally got to the Alien campaign I sometimes found myself on edge waiting for a Xeno to pop out of the shadows before I quickly realized I AM THE XENO. lmao I got so used to hunting and killing it that those senses were still present even in the Alien campaign.

Disappointed to see how the new Aliens: Fireteam Elite turned out. This franchise DESPERATELY needs a new game that lets you play as the alien like this one. So fluid, perfect controls, the works. Glad to see the alien campaign got the most views and likes, really was one of the most enjoyable single-player experiences.
I think playing as the alien suits AvP more than pure Alien(s). In AvP xenomorphs are just dangerous space bugs whereas in Alien they're supposed to be a species that we cannot fully understand. Playing as the alien would really take away from that in my opinion.

You could have taken all the lights out for a more stealthy approach, use your secondary tail attack on marines from a long distance, and you can hold it an do a strong one hit attack.
This still was one of the best multiplayer games I ever played. When you get a full session of marines, aliens, and predators, god damn it becomes a blast. I always loved playing as Marines, fighting off against the aliens and predators was so much fun with my squad.
The best part I like about the game, is hissing in certain areas and instead of all the marines coming, only one goes and dies. They can't even see the bodies sitting there...
This game was special. Being able to play as either a Yautja, Marine or Xenomorph was fantastic. The campaigns could have been longer for the non humans, though. And they shut down the multiplayer servers.
I absolutely loved that you could climb as Xeno as you liked and be oriented in any direction. I was abusing it so much playing as typical Xeno from “Alien” that it’s started to confuse my brain xD
Matthew Sykes try the original AvP on PC back from 2000, and AvP2, they nailed the Alien controls. Crazy how as the years went on they made it worse lol
I mean, can't you turn it off so that once you walk to a wall it instantly walks up it instead of having to hold down a button? That's how I played the game.
I think a better Xenomorph experience would be starting off as a single drone, building up a swarm through facehugger attacks, then being able to switch between individual aliens, kind of like in sports video games. If your selected Xeno dies, you would just transition to the next closest one.
I feel like they should make a game like this, except you could make your own Xenomorph and with a third person view. I’m not sure if anyone would agree but I think would be pretty cool if they made a game like that. Btw I forgot to say they should also add A online co-op mode and a story mode.
Imagine in a new Metroid game there's a sort of flashback/side story where you get to play as Ridley, and his playstyle would be similar to this. That would be sick!

I always love playing xeno, its a shame there arent many games where you get to play as one.
The best part I like about the game, is hissing in certain areas and instead of all the marines coming, only one goes and dies. They can't even see the bodies sitting there...

I need a new installation in this series. Hands down one of the best franchises ever.
This game was special. Being able to play as either a Yautja, Marine or Xenomorph was fantastic. The campaigns could have been longer for the non humans, though. And they shut down the multiplayer servers.
The way they ignore all the enemies is driving my OCD nuts.

I absolutely loved that you could climb as Xeno as you liked and be oriented in any direction. I was abusing it so much playing as typical Xeno from “Alien” that it’s started to confuse my brain xD

I didn’t I liked the marine. In multiplayer I mastered the marine killed a bunch of predators and aliens .
The part where the queen died was actually emotional.

Matthew Sykes try the original AvP on PC back from 2000, and AvP2, they nailed the Alien controls. Crazy how as the years went on they made it worse lol

I mean, can't you turn it off so that once you walk to a wall it instantly walks up it instead of having to hold down a button? That's how I played the game.
11 years on and I still love this game
I think a better Xenomorph experience would be starting off as a single drone, building up a swarm through facehugger attacks, then being able to switch between individual aliens, kind of like in sports video games. If your selected Xeno dies, you would just transition to the next closest one.

I feel like they should make a game like this, except you could make your own Xenomorph and with a third person view. I’m not sure if anyone would agree but I think would be pretty cool if they made a game like that.
Btw I forgot to say they should also add A online co-op mode and a story mode.

I like how they always have Alien listed as the last one in the campaign selection screen between the last two Avp games like it’s supposed to be the least important one when the Alien character is always the cause of almost everything that happens
