- This is a story-based video for the “Aliens: Colonial Marines" DLC - Stasis Interrupted, which I tried to make look like a movie:
◾️ I added my own cutscenes with footage that you can't see during walkthrough. Some of it with audio diaries. Audio diaries are easy to miss while playing, but they help you better understand the plot.
◾️ The plot showed in chronological order.
◾️ I removed the interface of the game, recorded the gameplay in a role-style, and edited sounds and music.
◾️ Added external subtitles: english subtitles, and subtitles with my own translation in russian.

▶️ Plot:
During the events of Aliens, Carter Burke manages to send a message to Weyland-Yutani confirming the existence of the Xenomorph species. In response, the company dispatches an expedition to LV-426 - including the command ship Resolute and the advanced research transport USS Legato, the latter of which carried a cargo of human colonists kept in stasis to be used as hosts to breed Xenomorphs. However, the expedition arrived at the moon only after the destruction of Hadley's Hope and the departure of the USS Sulaco. After investigating the coordinates of the derelict ship, the Weyland-Yutani team discover the ruins of the craft and immediately harvest the Eggs found on board. They begin establishing a research facility there, and also start breeding and studying Xenomorphs aboard the Legato, using the colonists as hosts. The company pinpoints the location of the Sulaco through the network and the colony's computer logs, sending the Legato to intercept the cruiser. Just as the corporates connect their ship with the Sulaco, a Xenomorph outbreak erupts on the Legato.

I'm glad she wasn't inpregened by the royal face hugger but it was sad she perished in the beginning of the movie

The most scary sound Aliens ever produced was the motion tracker picking up a signal. When you hear that sound. That means your ass is grass

That moment when the dlc prequel, is better than the base game.
The way those aliens galloped over the top of that umbilical was too cute!
Loved this game. The base game... not so much. But I went in without expecting anything and man this was great. Lizabeth's episode was well done and her voice acting was amazing. Also, the editing here (as usual) was perfect. The chestburster and then cut back to Stone's POV? perfect!

I would prefer they do a remaster of AvP2......and primal hunt, i loved that game and expansion pack, they were awesome....imagine them in Unreal 5 engine. ;-)

The sounds are great for the franchise ambiance
My favorite part was Hicks's melee & roll after the crusher was killed at 1:31:23
I like that the caves had drone AND warrior xenos. They didn't just stick to ridged aliens to respect the movie but actually followed the rules of the universe and had both
Problem I have with this game is wouldn't Hicks have killed Ripley if she had that face hugger on her. He did make her a promise to do so if that happened.

Один вопрос назрел после просмотра графики игры и воспоминания о том, насколько ... обычной оказались сами колониальные морпехи... Неужели нет компаний, которые бы устроили ремейк классического АвП 2 (первую часть я не шибко люблю просто) по типу того, что сделали Капкомы с Резидент Ивл 2?.. :( Эх... А какая бы игра могла выйти!..

Never heard of this game but i really enjoy watching it.
I've been disconnected from Aliens CM since it's bad released and had no interest in the DLC, came here after seeing the incredible job DeeALup made in other videos. Now, watching the first minutes of this DLC makes me think it kinda inspired Creative Assembly to make Alien Isolation?
While I do not like the games in the colonial marine series you work deserve a like and comment :D

Can we get a real-time multi player game FPS based on the Aliens, Marines, Predators already? Think Destiny but based on our favorite franchises but where you get select your species and you can direct their development, proficiency, weapon load out and customization equipped with added kill streak upgrades.

Theyre slowly getting it right, alot of fans needed something like Fireteam Elite and i love it, but I also love the 1st person of AVP gold edition, that had a good multiplayer option but still, so much potential. I like Predator Hunting Grounds too but its just a “hunting” style, not campaign. I want multiple Predators as friends killing multiple aliens or marines, or vice versa, or whatever, lol

Anyone else notice the cryotubes are different in Alien 3.
The Alien 3 cryotubes look vastly different from where they originated from in Aliens. They're accurate in Colonial Marines because they look like the ones in Aliens.
It's because Alien 3 was a hypersleep nightmare.

You should listen to the Alien 3 audio drama. The story is VERY different from the film. Michael Biehn reprises his role as Hicks and Lance Henriksen reprises his role as Bishop. It's on TH-cam so you can listen to it for free.
This Alien 3 prequel was still the best so far and until today, right before Aliens Romulus release this month soon...

No. Not at all. It's absolutely contrived. That is if we're talking the Alien 3 director's cut, which though brutal to the characters of Aliens, is also very coherent and suitably dark for the alien universe. This however reads like a children's fanfic.
I came to the recent conclusion that ALIENS: Dark Descent is what ALIEN 3 should have been.
How much do you want to bet the real reason Weyland wanted the Xenos so badly wasn’t because he wanted weapons; but because he knew that with his personality, he’d get no b*tches!

It's all in one consistent canon now. They retcon a few things here & there & I'm liking it so far.
Nah, his death in Alien 3 was fine. It made the bleakness of the film that much more powerful and has let the film age even better as time has passed.
It’s a story. Characters can change and die in stories.

Если считать это дополнение, как продолжение 2й части, то круто. Но есть нестыковка по поводу выброски спасательной капсулы на fury 161 и появлением Хикса, который видел смерть Рипли. Рипли провела на Fury неделю. По дополнению - пару часов....

Thank you for doing this. Well put together. Much better than this stinker of a game, so kudos. All you need to know about the lack of competence and effort is right in the end credits. Starring Lance Hendrickson as Weyland. Whom is that ?! FFS Gearbox you only had two of the cast. Can't even get the fricking actors name correct. Actually, it kind of sums up the AAA sectors attitude to the entire voice acting profession to be honest. Thanks again for your effort, clearly more than gearbox and their subsidaries put in.

to be honest I always liked these games because after a while with racing games and sport games they become a bit boring even when replaying the sports games. at times with this type of games it still holds up going back and playing them

The Aliens still look and move like shit. But! They ARE using their surroundings. Not to mention, I like the way they redconed what happened between alien 2 and 3.
The story and, the characters are likeable. This IS the game we should’ve got back in 2013. Too bad it’s a too little too late.
oddly, the fix to this bug is a spelling error, and easily fixed.
There's a complete overhaul patch for the game that is highly recommended.
Not to mention the way it is here....

Okay but where did the Wayland Yutani Thugs come from? They weren't on the Sulaco and them being on the colony ship seems a little deus ex machina. I mean how would they know they needed a nearly endless supply of security for a new colony?

In the original movies, there isn't a single instance of a mature xenomorph being destroyed by fire.
It's unclear whether they can even be deterred that way.

is forced to let go of the pod and/or pushed away when Ripley turns on the pod's thruster.
The xenomorph was *not* destroyed. In fact, it's not clear it was even injured.

Because it's DLC for Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Basically the main game sucked and was super bug ridden. This DLC was closer to AVP2 and therefor better.
I can't quite understand why this DLC is so well rated on Steam. The game is still neither on the quality level of the original trailer nor of Alien Isolation.
Its less bad than the main game tho
