Thank you! It really depends on the size of the champagne bottle, but since they tend to be a little wider than a wine bottle, I would increase for an additional row (below): Row 4: **1 SC in st 1-2, 2 SC in st 3.** Repeat * around the row (24 total SC stitches). This should get the base a little wider to accommodate a champagne bottle. If you have the bottle on hand while you’re crocheting, then when you are crocheting the repeating rows of 1 SC in each st in each row, place as many rows as you want to get the look you desire. I usually place the bottle in the tote when I think it is getting close to being tall enough to check and get it exactly where I want it. When it comes to placing the handles, I would increase the number of SC stitches between the chains that form the handles by 3 per handle. If it would be helpful to you, I can write out that pattern. 😀 And not to add confusion, but the original pattern does have some give and could be fine as is for a champagne bottle. I hope this wasn’t TMI and you find it helpful! Happy crocheting 🧶

Love this. I made this a Vase tote for my granddaughter. Turned out cute.
Love your videos. How many stitches/increases for a champagne bottle? Excited to try this.
