90% of the builders in SW Fla CANT keep a timeline..So how does one tell the lender...Theres currently NO builder in the area that can have a new build done in a year timeline..PERIOD...
I would have to disagree with that right there. If you know the builder, especially the one I work closely with he can get it done in 12 months because here is the breakdown - 30-45 Days for house plans (custom house) - 4-8 weeks to get plans approved by county/city - 8-9 months Building time Total Time: 10-12 months
This advice is more than important now when the process of building could take longer than before.

Try the USDA Loan it covers everything. I use them to build in Loxahatchee, Florida
USDA Loans are great...for certain areas... they are meant for more rural communities.
