Great to see someone improving the maverick instead of the impact. I have a maverick and I'm always knocking the power wheel so hopefully I will be ordering a quick tune system soon if possible as I'm in England.
Thanks for commenting! I went with the Maverick because it was less expensive and less complex (fewer seals) then the Impact. Now it's just as easy to tune. International shipping is available from Ebay. Just sent a kit to the UK the other day.
While I don't own a PCP air rifle (yet!), I find the technical aspect interesting, especially the interaction of the pellets with the gun and the projectile speed.
Some of this applies to other types of air guns as well so thank you.

Excellent display of a stabilization issue with the light weight pellets. If you noticed the change in groups at certain velocities. I think if you dropped down to 700 FPS the groups would be better. Awesome content.

My Maverick 600mm in .22 and .30 prefers JSB pellets
Most consistent pellet for me up till this video has been the Air Arms 25.4's.
Hi Phil, great video, how does this work with FX saying there should only be 30 to 40 bar between 1st and 2nd regulators, if you have your 1st = 160 Bar and 2nd = 85 Bar, isn't that outside the FX parameters ?
In my experience I would say those are just guidelines. There are plenty of the factory FX guys who run outside those parameters. The regulators are probably designed to deal with at least 150 bar. Having the 1st reg. set to 160-170 bar gives you a bunch of head room so you can run anything from 25 grain to 34-36 grain with ease. Having 80 bar between the regs, you'll be just fine.

After watching I went to HPP to buy and out of stock. Then eBay, out of stock. Other options? When back in tock? Please answer my questions about hammer spring changes latency.
We are look at Mid-May for more stock, sorry for the delay. When you change the HS setting with the hybrid adjuster, it should settle down in 1-2 shots, same as the power wheel.
How to you get to fractions of hammer setting? My hammer wheel is single digits 1-7. Also, how long after you make a HS adjustment with it take the spring to stabilize at that setting?
Watch the first video, the thumbnail says "absolute precision". The power wheel has been replaced with a micrometer which measures in 0.01mm increments.
One shot to stabilize at new hs setting.
I didn't hear you mention WEIGHT of pellet. Did I miss something?

Yes on the .22 and probably not on the .30. The reason I went with .25 is that it hits harder then .22 for pesting and is half the price of .30. Thanks for commenting!
