"We get to choose how much or how little we play during a song." Haha, some of my friends would vote for less than I would vote for! 😅 I am a clawhammer player, but I always love your content!
Loved it! Could you do some more videos of playing more fill-in licks? I’ve been trying to make my own licks, but it’s pretty tough lol. Can you help me out a little?
I’m sure I’ll be adding plenty in the future, but some of my older videos, like most of the J.D. Crowe videos, include backup licks as well! Glad you like them!
Always appreciate your insight into how these licks can fit together in any song.....Thanks Eli.
Thanks Kenneth!
thanks for the accessible lesson
Every aspect of what you do is top notch! Content, playing, and presentation are unmatched.
Great video. Thanks for breaking it down. I'd like to learn the tab licks you shared. They are a great way to also work on fundamentals. Thanks again.
This is exactly what I've been waiting for, thanks Eli!
Glad to hear that!
I like how Ron changes these standard licks by omitting the first note
It makes a huge difference!
Great video and you are so right about keeping it simple. Less is more! Do you have a “how to play in D like Ron” video?
GREAT lesson and presentation!!!
Thanks!
Great video, Eli. Can you give us the link to the boxcars video you referenced so we can check out more? Thanks!
Do you know what banjo Ron is playing here sir?
