Met Cowboy in Texas a few years back after UFC 211. It was like 3 am and he was still nice enough to talk to my friend and I and take a picture with us. Was a fan of him ever since the “Tapout” episode aired back in the day. Guy is a class act.

Reminds me of when my oldest daughter was about 18 months old and sitting upright on the couch. I always liked cowboy from the first time I saw him fight. It seems he built a place he loves and in my opinion he deserves it. Few guys have taken fights with no heads up but maybe a day like he always seems willing to do. Solid guy. Many fighters seem a little unbalanced but he seems well grounded.

A lot of things you end up not learning or having to learn by yourself through youtube videos later on in life.. Which isn't the worst thing I guess, but would be amazing to have learned everything Cowboy knows growing up, lol.
