Everybody should watch your videos. I’m not a rancher I’m just a elderly lady that lives over in New Jersey. this would definitely give people the insight of what goes on in a Cattlemens life.
Thank you Trinity for taking your viewers along...I know Calibar did well with just a rope halter today...but that was a tremendous climb...for all of you...loved seeing the Border Collies work along side of you also...
Beautiful scenery. Seeing the horse bobbing his head up and down let me know the hill was steep even though the camera minimized the steepness. Love your videos. Have a great week. May God keep you safe as you go into this winter season, as you're out with your cattle and horses.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride. I used to ride fence lines in rural Wisconsin, and you have reminded me how different the world looks from atop a horse. Your work and personality are appreciated, and I always look forward to seeing your next video.
I know that this is probably much harder than it looks but I could do this all day any day. Also Calibar is super cute! This is my dream life and I hope I can achieve something like this some day. Loved the editing❤
LOL Be careful what you wish for. We have a little horse ranch near Kalispell. Mother bear, a citified, has said more than once that she didn't realize how much work ranching was. Our life is not for everyone, even when it's just a hobby. Trinity, you are a real American cowboy. I tip my hat to you, sir.
Along with all the good things I remember from gathering cows, I also remember on long days of riding, legs so stiff and sore it was hard to walk til you moved around a bit after getting off. And I was still in my teens. And depending on time of year, cold, cold feet. It's work, but somehow still such a pleasure
What a wave of nostalgia. All of it. I could clearly remember the feel of the horse, smell the morning air, the horse, and the leather and the sense of peaceful vastness.
Until your videos, I had no idea that cattle would be amongst the thick trees and up steep hillsides like you have to traverse. Thanks for the great videos!
Yes. The last couple of years, Cory ( the rancher who owns these cattle ), has put only 2 year olds up in the higher stuff. Thats a risk because they are a little wilder, but they seem to climb up into those higher spots better than the cows that are a little older.
You create the most awesome videos, such beautiful scenic views but your narration is what really makes them. You plainly explain the whys of your actions, sharing so much wisdom about the animals, their motivation and their nature, making your video educational, informative, and entertaining. I really look forward to each one you post. Take care of yourself.
Beautiful scenery. Thank you for taking time to video as you work. My health has declined and I can no longer do this kind of activity. So I live vicariously through folks like you who share their lives with us.💞 I can almost smell the horse sweat and pine.
Well guys this is my favorite program. I love cows and cow people. Wish we had more cow people around. You should win an award for showing the every day people what you do and where our meat comes from. Also I love horses. Quarter horses are very smart and can’t see another breed doing what you people do with them. Keep up the great work. I Love Montana! Linda Renslow
Beautiful. Looking forward to part 2 ! I'm a big fan of Calibar. The young dude is hanging in there. Beautiful to see. To me it's amazing to see how you take him out there with just the halter. Thank you !
I live in rural Alberta, Canada. Moved from the city 18 months ago. Best decision I made in a long time. Love the videos as I find them so interesting. Thanks
I love these videos of you riding and rounding up cattle. The scenery is amazing and it’s very relaxing to watch. Very informative as well. I did a little as a kid and I still remember my but being soar after 4 or 5 hours in the saddle. I can only imagine what it’d be like after 9 or 10 hrs. Keep up the great work.
Hey trinity. I'm in great falls. This is the perfect youtube. No preservatives or additives. Just real montana ranching. Love ur show! I suspect it's a hard life, especially in winter, despite the romantic views and lovely animals.
Love this video! Hub spent time moving cattle near there when he was in high school...the best time of his life! And for me..I get to relive his joy through your videos. The best!
Beautiful view! I was out of breath just thinking about hiking it. Loved the intensity of the collies, too. Thanks for posting, and good luck for the coming winter!
That would be such a hard and at the same time satisfying job when you get them all gathered and to their destination. Wishing I were there to see all of that beautiful country and helping get them there. Thanks Trinity Cody and Janelle for sharing a very hard and enjoyable ride❤💯
On horseback, in the woods sometimes it seems like the cattle or sheep know just the route to make our own path five times as long. Then it's dark, though it seems like we just started to get the job done. Tomorrow we get up and do it again until all the animals are down from the high country. It gets done pretty much the same way here in Colorado and throughout the rockies. I enjoy your information and insight.
What a great video, thank you! Seems like you had a rougher day than you normally would with a young horse making you work harder. Loved the views! We are seriously looking at making a move to northern Wyoming next year. You’re a lucky man!
@trinityvandenacre You Are a Good Cowboy & Person, Thanks For Life Ranching Videos, Hi From Hermosillo, Sonora/Arizona Desert Area !!!🌵☀️🔥🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🎸🎼🎤🤘🏻🍺🍺🍺
What views just so beautiful way up there. Not too shabby for a day of work. Thanks for sharing that it gives me a moment of peace in this everyday hectic crazy life. I can't wait for next Sunday. Till then. Take care from Canada eh!
Ask TH-cam and it provides lol. Got here purely through curiosity and I am not disappointed. I never knew these types of videos existed. Thank you for the content!!!
My friends run cattle in the summer at 9,000 feet in the high country of Arizona. In the fall, they’re gathered for several days and slowly moved down the mountain to their ranch headquarters.
Yes. The views from up there are really cool, but that day they were even better due to the fog. Too bad the light was too low for my camera to really capture what it looked like.
Boy I miss that even as hard as it can become. That is a good looking horse you’re riding. I hope he works out well for you. We usually took two horses up just in case we had a hard gathering. They need to be in good shape for the work. Take care sir and havagudun.
Im no horseman lol but i do live Beautiful countryside and where u are is AWESOME Countryside- i can truly see why u are there and love what ur doing- there is a vehicle that will go where the cattle mostly go- its able to climb 72° inclines and has a 12" ground clearance - its called a PUCH its made in Germany and is used by the army to haul supplies- look it up its realy neat vehicle
Your horse is very alert. Observe everything. Maybe was not worked to much. The vegetation an relief is very similar with our transylvanian high mountain zone. Here the cows may be eaten in several weeks by wolf's &bear's. Very nice videos! Cheers from Transylvania! Gyula.
Yeah. We don't get enough rain here to keep the grass green. We get an average of 8" to 10" of moisture per year. How much does the lake district get? Do you know?
Great video! What an amazing country and awesome work you're doing. We dont have this over in Europe obviously, but I would love to learn to do this kind of stuff.
I love watching your horse. My late father in-law used to have cutting horses. He won trophies. But, I told him he cheated. His horse did it with out a rider too.
The only thing on earth better than a cowboy and his horse at 8000 feet in Montana is a cowboy and his horse at 8000 feet in Idaho. Keep up the great work.
Loved it. I am going home to Guatemala for new years. The only difference is you have grasslands, we have tropical forests. Taking them down those mountains is the same thing we have to look forward to. Except ours understand only Spanish commands. Oralé! Oralé! Epah! Epah! Vaca Vaca oyit! They love being called Vaca ( Cow). Call'em different and they just look at you. LOL! Waiting for next week now.
Being from PA but now living in MI the wide open scenery, especially the mountain vista's, simply take my breath away!! Question for you, with weather changes so fast in the mountains why don't you have slickers tied behind your saggles? Thank you!
@5:10, I opened many a barbed wire gate by lifting a barbed wire oval stapled to the gap post over the gate post down here in Florida. I guess the more things are different the more they're the same about as far apart in the country as you can get.
I was gonna say “don’t get off that horse you big baby, I’ve road up steeper than that” but then I remembered I’m 50 and you look close to my age soooooo…… never mind lol. 😂😂😂
I felt like I was on that horse. Nobody makes moving cattle look more exciting than Vandenacre!
You are so awesome Peter! Thank you. 😊
Two my favorite channels 😊 thank you , guys
I love how patient and stern you are with that young horse , I learned alot today!
Thank You Trinity .
Absolutely. And thank you for watching.
This is how I grew up. All the neighbors got together and went from one farm to another helping each other.
Thank you for taking us with you. So relaxing to watch. You have a beautiful horse. I love the creeking of the leather.
It is an extremely comforting sound isn’t it?
Thanks for sharing a piece of Montana high country! It’s absolutely beautiful!
You are welcome. I wasn’t really happy with the video quality but it was really dark all morning. 😁

I love that you take the time to answer questions. You are a good person.
Well, thank you Dan. I can’t get to all the questions but I do what I can.
I love the unity and relationship between rider and horse, they both gotta understand one another.
Since watching Yellowstone, I've been watching the real ranchers of Montana. That job is definitely hard work. These videos are cool to watch.
Nothing more soothing than leather squeaking of a saddle and the hooves on the ground
