Back in 1973 .... I bought a Buick Luxus brand new V8 A good car....At that time it Would've been nice to had Option to had that Badass 455 Buick engine ❤❤❤❤
Goodday Brett, Great little video especially after the stop sign. Need a 15 sec video going from standstill to full speed banging it through the gears would be nice. Cheers Louis Kats your number 1 Fan in Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 🇺🇸
Thank you. Imagine, in 1970 you could stop by your Buick dealer and say "I'll take the GS four-speed, please". Beautiful cars. How much was that, $4000? Now a new Buick comes with a 1.2 Liter.
@@brettslater872Having owned a 1968 GS 400 Convertible 4speed (M20) and driven a SS454 Chevelle with the M22 very understandable that Buick avoided the M22... Buick was the luxury musclecar, and its in different league...
What a lovely machine. The sound makes me so happy.
One of my favorite all time muscle cars… love the Stage-1 … sounds great 👍🏼
Thanks!!
Them old Buicks never got the respect they deserved until you came across one of these and all you seen was taillights.
Sounds about right. 😋
What a car love the sound of the stage 1 cam

That's a nice grocery-getter!
It's sufficient. 😂😂
I park with all the other cars, too. People are always gazing at it when I come out of the store.

Looks like a nice one ! Thanks for the ride.
Any time. 😁
Thank you. Nice and HOT. 510- TORQUE. BAD TO THE BONE. HAD 2- 1- STAGE 1. Rarely LOST A RACE. KEEP IT ON THE ROAD. 🇺🇲✌️
Thanks!
We just got a couple days of heavy rain here in MA. I may go for a rip tomorrow.
They were hot but when they came upon a ram air 4 judge it usually who was the best driver
@@Ronadams5272 You’re on-point. My best friend had a ‘68 Ram Air IV, 4-speed, Firebird with 4.33 gears. That thing ran like a M’fer.

$4,300 and change - which was expensive back then. Haha
@@brettslater872 You paid for the name and luxury. I paid $3100, out-the-door, for a ‘70 Nova with the 350/300hp engine.
Buick 455 sound is music
❤❤❤👍
The M22 Rockcrusher is relatively quiet.
Unfortunately, Buicks didn't come with those. M21 only.
@@brettslater872- That would explain why it is so quiet. What is your rear gear ratio?

3.64 10 bolt rear that came with the car.
Oddball gears, I know.
Great video guys and what an absolute amazing car. I’ve always been a die hard GM guy and that is my true dream car. Is that a m22 in that
Original M21.
Unfortunately, Buick never offered the M22.
